Chill in an Eames recliner and listen to Miles, meditate in our back yard, sit with your main squeeze on the lawn drinking a cocktail, telecommute from the hammock, cook in our sweet kitchen and dine at the 8-person dining table. The space Designed by a follower of Frank Lloyd Wright, the Mod House is an architectural achievement of the mid century modern style, with period furnishings, amazing light, and a connection between inside and outside, home and nature. You may see wild turkeys, eagles, bears, bluejays, turtles, and almost certainly, Gary the Groundhog who lives in the yard. Guest access You will need a car to get the most out of your stay, and we offer free parking. We're a 5 minute drive to Ellenville's main drag, and 15 minutes to Mountaindale. During your stay I'm Nick, owner, curator, artist, and host. I live here with my dog Puddin, my cat Neala, and will be your house guide, making sure you feel welcome, peaceful, respected, and have all your questions answered about our incredibly beautiful area.
