This historic log cabin is nestled on a private part of the farm next to a stocked fishing pond and surrounded by breathtaking views of the surrounding property. It provides a taste of what life was like in the late 1700s with the comforts of modern living. It is ideal for both short and long term rental and is fully appointed including grill, picnic table, and private parking. Guests have access to the plunge pool/hot tub at main farm house mid-April - late Sept, and all hiking trails. HOWEVER, unlike in yesteryears, with electricity, internet, kitchen, laundry, dining room, living room, and grill. Our 558 acre farm is the ideal place to begin and end your day or exploration, whether you choose to just stay on the property or explore the surrounding treasures our offer has to offer! Other things to note We are a smoke and substance free facility at all times, even outdoors. Due to the nature of a working farming, we are unfortunately not set up for differently abled access. Our historic buildings were designed in a different era 100s of years ago, and our walkways and driveways are undulating and unpaved. We love hosting family with children and pets, with the caveat that they must be supervised by parents or guardians at all times. Unlike many farms that are set up as a petting facility, our diversified and regenerative farm continues to operate as a farm at all times, even when guests are present. In addition, checkin times are definitively between 1 and 5, unless with special approval at time of booking, since guests will need to be introduced to our Maremma Livestock Guardian Dogs. They are the gatekeepers for all comings and goings. :) Please note that the pool and hot tub are at the main farmhouse, approximately a 7 minute walk away. The pool and hot tub are open mid-April through end of October, weather permitting. Produce and meats and other products can be ordered in advance through Hidden Creek Farm.
