Hummingbird Cottage

NONSMOKERS only please. Charming guest house in a quiet neighborhood that shares the backyard and seasonal swimming pool with the main house. We are near access to I-44, Redding Municipal Airport, Bethel, and Shasta Community College. We are only 15 minutes from downtown Redding and the Civic Center. The space This is a self contained one bedroom cottage with a separate entrance and a designated driveway parking spot. The bedroom has a twin daybed, a queen bed and a twin trundle bed that can be pulled out. There is also a sofa bed in the living room which can be used as a separate sleeping area/bedroom. The livingroom has a small gas fireplace and comfortable seating for four with the sofa and two bucket chairs. There is also a TV and access to YouTube TV. Guests are expected to use their own Netflix, Disney, etc. accounts. Please note there is no oven or cooktop in the kitchen. There are two electric burners, a microwave and a toaster oven/air fryer as well as other kitchen appliances. The cottage shares the property with our main residence but has its own separate porch to enjoy beautiful Redding weather. Guest access Guests have the entire cottage and the attached patio with a view of the rose garden as well as access to the pool that might be shared with our family. The cottage and the pool are for guest use only. No visitors please. Guests who have family in Redding that will be visiting or staying with them must include them in the number of guests when booking the cottage. No parties or events per Airbnb regulations. Other things to note This cottage is in the backyard of the main house so guests may see family in the backyard, pool or on the porch of the main house.
