Water supply is limited so don't expect to be taking showers all day long. Lake Okeechobee is 20 minutes away, great for boating and fishing. If you want to disconnect from the city and your electronic devices for a couple of days and enjoy a primitive camping experience this is the perfect place. Other things to note There is a market, gas station and convenience store nearby. The Town of Clewiston next to Lake Okeechobee is about 20 minutes away by car. Please remember this a primitive campsite, there is no running water, the shower site has a small limited water supply and the toilet is a compost one. There is some drinking water provided but you will need to procure your own after. There is also a cooler available but you will need to get your own ice. No wifi available.
