Hilltop Sunset Farmhouse

This beautiful country home has been recently updated. Our property is tucked away at the top of a .7 mile private road, on a 10 acre farm, with amazing views of the valley, hills, city, & breathtaking sunset right from the living room/ kitchen. We are about 15 minutes away from town, so definitely not in the city. Our quaint country home is located on the Placer county wine/ ale trail, near wineries and breweries, 2 miles to Hidden Falls, and close to many of California’s best hiking trails The space This is truly a special piece of property located on the top of a hill, which has been said to have some of “the best views in Auburn” by locals. As you drive up the road you may think “where am I going”, but when you make it to the top it will all make sense. We are far enough away from the hustle and bustle to explore nature, yet close enough to provide convenience. You can’t truly appreciate the views until you visit. Guest access Please do not venture past the white fence unless accompanied by someone that lives there. Again, we have farm animals, and you are strangers to them. However, we do have 2 potbelly pigs that are too smart to keep pinned up, and enjoy free ranging the property, living their best lives. You likely will encounter them, but they won’t bother you, but do love when you give them attention. They won’t pester you. They may stop by to see if you want to pet them or give them treats, and occasionally like to relax under the porch. They are the size of medium short dogs. Other things to note We are a very pet friendly property. We love well mannered friendly dogs. We typically allow one dog, but we ask that you please contact us about bringing a dog. We will accept on a case by case basis. We have farm animals on the property. They are all friendly, however, they are animals, and you are strangers, so please be respectful of that. We also have dogs. They are extremely friendly, and love to meet new friends, so if your dog is not friendly please keep it home. If you bring a dog, please keep them leashed at all times, for their safety, as well as the safety of our animals.
