Only 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park where we enjoyed several hikes. Maggie was a super friendly and responsive host. The place was cosy, clean, and we loved spending mornings on the front porch thank you! - Crista The cottage was top notch clean and beautiful! Horses were just in front of the porch where I enjoyed dinner while watching the sunset. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. The charming cottage is nestled alongside a hill with a front porch overlooking a classic country view. Maggie was great in communicating w us and let us check in a couple hours early as we were running ahead of schedule. The cottage is charming and comfortable and has all of the amenities we needed. It's close to Madison Center and lots of restaurants, shops, and there are wineries nearby. Centrally located between Charlottesville and Culpeper, it's a great spot to use as base camp as there are many local attractions. A great visit. It also includes high speed internet to allow you to work remotely or use the smart tv at your leisure. KITCHEN: Cooking utensils, Keurig coffee maker w/coffee, sweetener and sugar provided, spices, blender, mixer, toaster, ample pots and pans, cookie sheets, bakeware, cutting board, table setting for 6, wine glasses and opener, Pantry space GENERAL: Free WiFi, Smart TV, Washer and Dryer, heat/AC, iron and ironing board, linens/towels, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, broom w/dustpan FREE PARKING: Driveway (3 vehicles) Charcoal Grill available - provide your own charcoal which can be purchased at the convenience store close to the house Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage, porch, and yard. Other things to note Please note, the cottage does have stairs that would be considered steep to some to get to two bedrooms upstairs. For mid-term stays we do complete a cleaning every 4-6 weeks and will arrange this with the guests. Our monthly rate includes all electricity up to $250, WiFi, lawn care, trash pickup. Electricity overage billed monthly if applicable.
