The space WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Creek Grown Cabin has a full kitchen, dining area, large living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The house has been recently updated but comes complete with some chippy paint and a few rusted spots. If you are looking for luxury, this isn’t it. If you are looking for the kind of peace and wonder only found in the country, this is the place. At the cabin, you will enjoy a large back deck, overlooking a large field next to the creek. Cross the creek bridge to find a hiking trail that leads to more creek swimming and fishing spots. The cabin is settled in a wooded area. You will see two friendly dogs who live on the property. Your might see deer, raccoons, armadillos, opossums, wild turkeys, squirrels, turtles, frogs, guineas, owls and neighboring farm dogs who love to meet new people on their lunch break. You might hear cows mooing from nearby farms, guineas looking for bugs to eat, or coyotes howling through the night. The dogs keep the coyotes away. Don’t be surprised to see bugs, spiders and snakes. They live out here too. Especially bugs. Bugs are everywhere. Bring bug spray. During the summer, every time you open the door, it’s likely a bug will enter the cabin. The cabin isn’t a luxury resort, but it’s newly renovated with rustic, country charm. If you are looking for a comfortable spot to rest while you enjoy the peace, beauty and adventure the creek has to offer, this is the place for you. Stay in the cabin to experience country living and wide open spaces. It’s a great way to live. Enter the old tree house at your own risk. Some boards are soft and there may be a family of squirrels inside. You will have private access to the entire cabin, field behind the cabin and creek below. Beyond the creek, you may see a wild child or two on their way to go fishing.
