This vibrant farmhouse is surrounded by 800 ft. of Lemon Stream. Walk to the historic wire bridge! It is about 27 minutes to Sugarloaf and 8 minutes to Kingfield; located directly off Rt. 27 in route to Carrabassett Valley. You can hit the slopes then come home to a cozy, gas fireplace. There's a firepit by the stream to enjoy the stars in warmth. The home is full of color and organic decor. FAST STARLINK WIFI! The space I invite you to The Riverfront Retreat. This home is intended to be a serene escape; a place to pause, connect, find inspiration, and perhaps heal. Each room has been thoughtfully put together with elements of feng shui and eastern styles mixed in with rustic comfort. The house is fully stocked with everything you should need. STARLINK so streaming & remote work is easy. Here's more about the home/area... Please note: A professional cleaning service will be hired after each reservation to assure your safety and comfort. *The furniture is low to the ground.* Please message me if you're looking to accommodate your fur babies. We accept well behaved pets. Please note: The property is not fenced in. The backyard is secluded, The front yard faces the road. This farmhouse-style home is 1200 sq. ft. with cathedral ceilings and some n newly installed hardwood, tile, and stone flooring. There is a cozy loft to relax or work, a stand-up desk and office chair is readily set up if you need to work remote. There is also a mudroom to place all your gear (skis, snowboards, snowshoes, all wet wintry stuff, or in summer your gear from an outdoor hiking or swimming sesh) so it can warm for the next day's adventures. The house features a shower & jacuzzi tub (bathtub, not an outdoor hot tub), gas stove, gas fireplace, plenty of plants for good vibes, smart tv, a firepit, and a covered porch to rock and enjoy the view in all seasons. This is a two bedroom home. Both bedrooms have sliding doors to access the outside. The downstairs bedroom has a double-sized bed and two twin beds (bunk beds), and the second bedroom is upstairs and has a queen bed. The property is 1.5 acres and is pleasant to stroll. The historic wire bridge is a 10-minute walk, the grocery store is a 8-minute drive to Kingfield, and the local hiking mountains include Sugarloaf, the Bigelow Preserve, N. and S. Crocker, Mt. Abraham, and other 4000-footers. Great fishing nearby in the Carrabassett, but there is trout and bass on the property in the stream. We offer many recommendations for outdoor adventures or feel free to stay inside for R&R surrounded by live plants and organic decor There is a spacious driveway to park cars. will always be available to answer questions in message and have someone close by for any help required in-person New Portland is in Maine woods, about half way between Bangor and the Canadian border. A short drive away to the amazing Carabasset Valley, skiing, hiking, canoeing, all things nature! 27 mins to Sugarloaf and 50 minutes to Rangeley and saddleback.
