Bright Beautiful Spanish Bungalow

Our home is a sanctuary for relaxing or working in peaceful Pasadena—14 miles northeast of all the cultural excitement of Downtown L.A. The house is an artfully decorated 1920s, light-filled Spanish cottage. The space Morning coffee on the porch is lovely and so are nighttime cocktails in the backyard around the fire pit. The den is comfy for reading and watching TV. Projects get done in the sunny office with wraparound windows. The kitchen nook is a cozy spot for meals (or for a second work space), but it’s pretty glorious to dine in the backyard under the orange tree. The house is the only one on the property. Guest access The property has just one house on it, and guests have it all to themselves, along with the front and back yards. No garage access. Other things to note Please note: - That you will not be in the center of Los Angeles. Pasadena is part of the greater city but technically it’s a town of its own. Highland Park and Eagle Rock, trendy L.A. neighborhoods, are just 6-7 miles away. Downtown Los Angeles is 14 miles away. Meanwhile, charming downtown Pasadena with its shopping, eating, and historic architecture are 4 miles away. Caltech is 2.5 miles away. And the super-cute shops and cafes town of South Pasadena are 6 miles away. - The second bedroom is a pullout queen bed in the TV room. - This is our primary residence. When we are not renting it out, our hypoallergenic dog lives here with us.
