This serene home on a half-acre is only minutes away from local landmarks and yet offers a haven for those needing a place to reset or spend time with family and friends. Sip tea on the porches, sit under the grand oak tree, and enjoy the original wood floors, modern kitchen, beautiful furnishings and art work, comfy beds, and all the conveniences for an easeful stay. Located in the charming village of Bynum, this unique home offers the chance to roll with the river for a while. The 2,100-square-foot house is adorned with local art from the region and hosts cozy nooks throughout the house and an ample yard. Ideal for cooking great meals, socializing with friends, curling up on cozy couches, sleeping deeply, and listening to the crickets and river. A strong wifi signal via Eero mesh makes it a good place to work and study. Find your refuge in this spacious yet cozy home in a unique village brimming with natural beauty close to the major hotspot that is North Carolina’s Triangle. For a tiny town, Bynum offers a multitude of attractions, from hiking trails along the Haw River to the world-famous artist Clyde Jones’ Critter House to the Bynum General Store, now a nonprofit that holds community art and music gatherings throughout the year. The Bynum Bridge, which is on the National Register Of Historic Places, is literally just down the hill. Fearrington Village and Pittsboro are only minutes away by car; organic food at the nearby co-op is only a seven-minute drive; and a dip in the river is literally a few hundred steps away from this magical house. Please note that the drinking water in Bynum is healthful and clean and comes directly from Jordan Lake and is not part of the Pittsboro water system. Walk along the colorful, car-free Bynum Bridge, which is on the National Register Of Historic Places; hike or ride your bikes along the trails; walk up to the Bynum General Store for gatherings; gas, major stores, good restaurants only minutes away by car. There are two neighborhood cats that like to visit on the back porch. They are very sweet and friendly. Feel free to pet but please don't feed or let in the house.
