This is a serene and spacious studio cottage in a wooded backyard filled with flowers and ferns. It is tucked away behind our house in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the Springwater bike/walking trail, close to many great food cart pods, and a 10-minute drive to Mt. Tabor. We are also near several neighborhood parks, Woodstock Boulevard shops and restaurants, and tons of amazing food. The space The cottage is newly built, airy, in a massive yard with views of our fruit trees, lilacs, and underneath two grand giant firs. Our shared yard includes a play structure and vegetable garden. The cottage has a shower and its own high-speed WiFi. There is a full kitchen and a table that can be used for dining or as a workspace. The sink is in the kitchen, a few steps from the bathroom. Small mirrors are on the bathroom wall and next to the sink. The queen bed is comfy-firm, with a down comforter and antimocrobial covers on the pillows and the mattress. Extra blankets are in the cedar chest at the foot of the bed. The wall heater also warms the room up well. There are two small steps up into the front door. The flooring is bamboo, with carpets atop and several insulated inches below. The cottage is 400 square feet, and our backyard is 5000 square feet. The cottage has its own secluded back terrace under the apple tree. Guests are free to use any culinary herbs they find growing in the ground, including massive sage, rosemary, and mint plants.
