Planning a vacation or business trip? Welcome to the Taideniitty apartments in the heart of Old Varkaus. Aurinko is a cozy 50 m2 apartment on the second floor. In addition to a living room/bedroom with wood stove, there is a modern, fully equipped kitchen with basic necessities and a toilet with shower. There are two beds, and thanks to the extra beds, even four people will not be a problem. The apartment has a TV, Chromecast, console games, books and games. Free WiFi is available throughout the building. The space You will be comfortably accommodated in the spacious, clean and cosy light-filled apartments of our over 100-year-old house. Our guests have access to a laundry room for washing, drying and ironing and a garden sauna for a separate fee. In the courtyard you can sit out for free in the evening, for example at the barbecue. Free parking is available at both ends of the building for our guests. From spring to autumn, you can borrow a city bike for free to get around the area. Guest access If you're using public transport, you can safely request our extra-charge pick-up service. It is about 2 km from Matkakeskus to Taideniitty and we will gladly pick you up and take you back. Check-in starts at 3:00 pm and check-out no later than 12:00 pm. If necessary and possible, we are flexible with the times. Other things to note Accommodation is available all year round. From spring to autumn, the waffle café Fifty-Fifty is also in the building. Our guests have free access to all art exhibitions in the building and can use the courtyard with games. Smoking is only allowed outside in the courtyard. The building has an automatic alarm system for the fire department. Fines for smoking are 300 euros.
