Cozy and comfortable cabin in scenic surroundings with a great view of the river, forest and mountains. Easy access by car and parking at the cottage. Is helpful in being able to offer northern lights safaris in sleds for a maximum of 6 people under the right conditions. We have also 5 snowmobiles available for safari for rental due to capacity. Russenes is a great starting point for daily excursions to explore Finnmark in northern Norway. The space Newly built and modern cabin with most facilities to be able to have a comfortable stay. Water-borne underfloor heating throughout the first floor ensures good comfort even in the coldest season. We have also solar panels for green energy. Other things to note The Lodge is located in the scenic Olderfjord in Porsanger, which is in the middle of many popular places in Finnmark. There is proximity to both sea and mountains with fishing ponds, rivers and forests. Northern Norway is known for the northern lights or polar light in the dark season, and the midnight sun in the summer, in addition to the wonderful and highly variable nature between coast and inland. The location makes this a central point for using the cabin as a base over a few days. It will thus be comfortable to be able to explore large parts of Finnmark in pleasant day stages, without having to check in and out every day at different localities.
