This newly renovated, design-forward cottage is thoughtfully curated and surrounded by nature, with modern amenities that make it feel like home. The interior, decks, and dock all enjoy southeastern exposure, filling the space with natural light and offering beautiful views across 125 feet of lake frontage on a semi-private lake. The space As you arrive, you’re welcomed by lake views from nearly every vantage point—inside and out. The interior features rich, wide-plank bleached oak flooring and an original cedar-beamed cathedral ceiling, blending character with a refined, modern aesthetic. The cottage comfortably sleeps four adults across two thoughtfully designed bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with a double). Think classic cottage charm with elevated, contemporary comfort. We provide ultra-soft linens, plush cotton bath towels, Canadiana beach towels, and essentials like soap, shampoo, and conditioner—so you can pack light and settle in with ease. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, cookware, utensils, and tableware—everything you need to prepare anything from a simple grilled cheese to a memorable meal. A well-stocked spice rack, along with tea, sugar, and Nespresso coffee, is provided for your convenience. This semi-private, spring-fed lake offers excellent boating, swimming, and fishing in a peaceful, low-traffic setting. With no public access points, only residents and guests of Rowan Cottage Co. can enjoy Oak Lake, ensuring a quiet and relaxing experience year-round. Guest access Access is via a keypad at the main entrance on the lakeside deck; your code will be provided prior to check-in. Designated guest parking is available at the top of the driveway beside the black garage. If additional parking is needed, you may use the gravel driveway leading down to the cottage. Please note that during wet or snowy conditions, we recommend parking at the top of the driveway to avoid getting stuck.
