You'll appreciate the property's eco-friendly features: electricity is supplied by a solar plant with a backup generator, and water is sourced from a borehole. The house beautifully combines traditional and modern architectural styles, featuring a ground floor and an upstairs loft. Skylights brighten the interior, and each bedroom window offers stunning views of the tranquil dam and surrounding nature. You'll find indoor areas tastefully decorated with wall art and greenery. Each bedroom comes equipped with comfortable bedding and fresh towels, while the bathrooms include additional towels and hand soap. Toilets are fully stocked with toilet paper, ensuring your stay is as convenient as possible. Essential cleaning supplies, including dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, and paper towels, are also provided. The open-plan ground floor comprises the kitchen, a small laundry area, a living room, a dining space, and a bar area. The contemporary kitchen features generous countertop space, perfect for all your food preparation needs. It boasts ample storage cupboards and includes a convenient washing-up sink. Bedroom 1 comfortably accommodates 2 guests with a queen bed, built-in cupboards, a ceiling fan, and large windows with a sliding door that opens onto the picnic area and swimming pool. Its en-suite bathroom is modern, featuring a bathtub, shower, two washbasins, and a toilet. Bedroom 2 also sleeps 2 guests in a queen bed and offers similar amenities, with large windows and a sliding door overlooking the picnic area and swimming pool. This room shares Bathroom 2, also modern, which includes a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Upstairs, the loft area accommodates Bedrooms 3 and 4, along with Bathroom 3. Bedroom 3 sleeps 2 guests with two single beds that can be converted into a king bed, along with a window providing views of the picnic area and swimming pool. This bedroom shares Bathroom 3, which is modern and equipped with a bathtub, shower, washbasin, and toilet. Bedroom 4 can host up to 4 guests, featuring four single beds, two of which can be converted into a king bed. Additionally, the highly-rated guest house next door is extending its warm hospitality to our guests. Other things to note Please note that a refundable security deposit of R1,500 is required upon your arrival. For everyone's peace of mind, we kindly ask our guests to sign a short-term rental agreement upon arrival. Our property is powered by solar energy, so we kindly ask you to be mindful of your electricity use to help prevent power outages. While some amenities such as the oven and dishwasher aren't available at night, you'll still have access to our gas stove, microwave, and gas geyser whenever needed. While our dirt road is generally easy to navigate, please be aware that it can become bumpy in certain spots. The condition of the road may also vary depending on the weather, so we kindly ask that you drive carefully. If you're looking to launch a boat, please note that it depends on the availability of facilities, soil conditions, and the dam's water level.
