Waterfall Chalet on 9 acres w stream & lawns

PoconosLogCabin Waterfall Chalet - 3,000 sf ~ 5 bedrooms, sleeps up to 14 on 9 beautiful acres with a stream running through the property, a Christmas-lit gazebo & deck on the stream, lawns, 2 fire pits, game room, fireplaces, hot tub (arriving by Thanksgiving 2025) and more! The space Waterfall Chalet is new to AirBnB (May 2023) but has an excellent rental history on other platforms since 2020. Notes - A refundable security will be added to all reservations. We want you to get it all back, we don't want damages, but we've found that when guests prepay a security, they take better care of the property and it stays in better shape for everyone to enjoy. A Guest Agreement (which we will send you) is also required for each reservation. Linens - you may bring your own, or it's a $100 fee for us to rent them for you (through Pocono Linens). Loved the gazebo and the waterfall it was so beautiful; and we were so excited to be here. We had so much fun playing with all the family games they had. I did not want to leave this place. Review from Riley H (10/4 – 10/7/24) I recently stayed a the Waterfall Chalet for my bachelor party, it was a fantastic weekend with the guys! We actually spent a majority our our time at the cabin either at the fire or in basement playing cards and pool which was great. We also played paintball at Skirmish Paintball, this was a great experience for all of us as we have never played before and loved it. All and all our time at the Waterfall Chalet was fantastic and we would definitely stay there again. Review from Michael M (2/9 – 2/12/24) We had a family weekend at the Waterfall Chalet. We couldn't be any more pleased. The property was easy to find and there was plenty to do in the area close by. To call it the Waterfall Chalet is an understatement. There were several waterfalls and a BEAUTIFUL stream running right on the property. The backyard and firepit were fabulous and the home was clean and very comfortable. There were nine in our family and our furry friends and we were all very comfy in the big sitting room, bedrooms, and outside covered deck. You really couldn't ask for a better more beautiful mountain get away. Close to everything but the surrounding woods and stream made you feel you were tucked away. Love the place, loved the comfy wood fire place, loved the game room and loved the weekend getaway. The hosts were wonderful and answered EVERY question we had. At the end of the trip, people literally used the word, "perfect" multiple times. We were looking for a great place to hang indoors and outdoors and found that and more with this location. We lucked out with weather during the days of our stay and spent lots of time outside by the creek and playing outdoor games in the yard. We especially loved the gazebo and furniture by the water. Had some meals and listened to music down there for hours. During some of the nighttime rainstorms, the cabin gave all 12 of us a spacious and comfortable space to hang out. We played pool/cards in the game room and were able to cook large meals for all 12 of us in the kitchen. This place is also conveniently located near a few solid bars, premium skiing and stores for anything you might need. Lance and Lisa were also a pleasure to work with! Very accommodating and they made themselves super available to help with planning and questions about the area! We had absolutely everything we wanted and needed with this place. Highly, highly recommend!! Review from Wesley B (2/10 – 2/12/23) I hosted a group weekend at the Waterfall Chalet. The house was accommodating and warm for the month of February. It was able to sleep twelve of us easily. 10 minutes from all the supplies and fun you might need in the woods. Poconos Log Cabin Rentals was friendly and helpful in setting up events. Be sure to get a pig roast and all the delicious sides! Review from Chris O (12/27 - 12/29/22) Had a great time with my wife and 3 small children as well as some friends with their young children. The house was big enough for both families, and the large property was perfect for them to play and explore. We also had skiing lined up at Jack Frost and the location....2 miles down the road, was really convenient (which is important when you have small kids!). We usually don't like big crowds, especially in this environment, so this was a perfect holiday escape. Owners were super attentive to our questions and needs, so honestly could not have asked for more, other than some more snow! Will definitely stay here again. If we weren't exploring the stream and forest, then we were using the fire pit to make s'mores. The house is just as cozy as Poconos Log Cabin said it was but it had plenty of room for our entire family. We will definitely be back! We have no neighbors worried about you, ready to report you. You will feel secluded in the woods, but you are also just a short drive from town for all the things you might need. Activities: Lehigh River Gorge State Park - it's perfect for walking, biking, fishing, tubing, and rafting. The park contains 4,548 acres of land and about 30 miles of the Lehigh River. Recreational opportunities include: hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and whitewater boating. About 26 miles of abandoned railroad grade follow the river and are available to hiking and biking and provide access for hunting and fishing. Whitewater rafting is a major attraction of the park. This section of the Lehigh River is Class III whitewater and is popular for rafting, kayaking and canoeing. Hickory Run State Park: The 15,500-acre Hickory Run State Park, has over 40 miles of hiking trails, three state park natural areas and miles of trout streams. You must visit Boulder Field, a striking boulder-strewn area which formed 15,000 years ago! It is a National Natural Landmark. We recommend our guests plan a day of swimming at their lake. It has a sand beach and concession areas, bathrooms and bar-b-q areas. It is open from late-May to mid-September. Fishing: Francis E Walter Reservoir - stocked for trout fishing, with a variety of other native fish. Motor boats (1 hp max) allowed, also great if you have kayaks and inner tubes! The Lehigh River has warm-water game fish, trout and panfish. You can walk to the river from the house! Francis E.
