I highly recommend a visit to the 500 acre nature preserve at the Brown Family Environmental Center for some beautiful views and great hiking trails (1.0 mile away). If you find you’re in need of some additional shopping/ excursion needs, the charming public square of Mount Vernon (5.5 Miles away) is full of boutique shops and breweries! Mount Vernon has plenty of dining options; I personally recommend the Alcove, Baxters Wine and Whiskey or Happy Street Brewing. Of course there is always Walmart, and Kroger (4.8 Miles away) as well!
