This stunning 4 bedroom cabin is located just off Maitland road, only 5 miles from downtown Deadwood, nestled on 2.5 acres of wonderful forested property with fantastic views! Being in the heart of the northern Black Hills recreational corridor, you'll enjoy being in close proximity to Terry Peak, ATV/snowmobile trails, local amenities like restaurants and grocery stores, and Spearfish Canyon with some amazing hiking trails and world-class fishing! You're also less than an hours drive away from Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park and all the fun sights you come to the Black hills to see! Whether you're planning to visit to take in the views, or enjoy some adventurous activities, you'll love the Lazy L Lodge! After you've spent all day exploring, taking in the sights, and riding around on the local trails, coming home to your very own cabin is sure to be a treat. With amazing views from the deck with a gas fire-pit, a secluded back yard, and a deck/hot tub view of the stars, your vacation will be complete. The living room has vaulted ceilings that frame out the wonderful view through the large windows and there's two gas fireplaces to kick your feet up by after your days on the trails. The kitchen is gorgeous and opens into the living area great for entertaining and being around all your guests. There's 4 total bedrooms, two that are on the main floor, and 5 total queen beds, great for up to 10 people comfortably. The lower level includes a pool table that coverts to ping pong, a foosball table, wet bar and living area for enjoying time with your friends/family! You'll also enjoy the two stall heated garage if you want to store your motorcycles after long days on the windy highways! There's a rollaway basketball hoop and some other outdoor games to enjoy as well. With all these amenities and space, you'll always find time to come back to visit The Lazy L Lodge. We welcome you on your next vacation! You get use of the entire property and it's contactless entry with either a door code or lock box. The property is located on a lot, so you have parking available at the property. Property access information will be delivered within the week of your arrival, but it's typically sent the night before arrival. I live near the property and would be happy to suggest local attractions and things to do/see to prepare for your trip. There are so many things to enjoy, please let me know if I can help point you in the right direction. The property is close to Deadwood, SD where you can find local restaurants, historic casinos, and exciting events all year long. The property is also near the ATV/Snowmobile trails in the area and within minutes to the local ski resort – Terry Peak. Spearfish Canyon can be accessed with a short drive, and to venture out further through a scenic drive you can be at Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Needles Highway, and Custer State Park within an hour. Don’t forget about Badlands National Park – a wondrous location a little over an hour's drive away from the property to the East. Taxi’s run to and from the property to Deadwood/Lead and operate until the early hours of the morning on weekends. We would be happy to recommend some taxi options if you would like a ride to the local festivities. When the local trails are open, you will find it’s easy to access the property and local amenities while riding your ATV/UTV or snowmobiles. Just remember if you’re riding them on the road, you need an active license plate for the vehicle. If you’re planning to ride your snowmobiles/ATV’s on the local trail system, a permit is required from the Black Hills National Forest. We'd be happy to direct you where to purchase them!
