Beachfront luxury. This elegant 4-bedroom three bath house offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. House has four bedrooms, providing comfortable sleeping accommodations for 8 and ample room to spread out in common areas. This spectacular house is large with almost 4,000 square feet. The large living room downstairs with 19-foot ceiling features glass wall showcasing the deck, beach and ocean. The space Just off expansive deck, steps provide private access to beach where you can collect driftwood, seashells and interesting rocks polished by the ocean. Or you can fish in the surf. You can watch for whales or observe sea lions sunning themselves on the nearby rocks just offshore from inside house or you can go out on large new deck. The 2300 square foot deck features large hot tub where you can luxuriate as you watch sealife. Osprey as well as seagulls and variety of other land and seabirds populate the area. Often you can watch local fishing fleet plying their trade just offshore. Large family room downstairs features 12’ Brunswick shuffleboard as well as a 75” Samsung smart TV. The family room also offers wine cooler refrigerator and bar. In kitchen new GE gas range with electric oven and Kitchen Aid dishwasher anchor the appliances. Well-equipped Kitchen features windows providing great views of ocean and beach. Beautiful quartz countertops finish outstanding décor. In the front courtyard there is a large propane barbeque to cook on. When ocean breezes come up, the front courtyard provides nice spot outdoors sheltered from the wind. One mile north is the quaint town of Harbor-- primarily a little fishing village. There are numerous charter party boats offering fishing depending on the season for rockfish, halibut, salmon or crab. The Chetco river enters the ocean at Harbor and at times of the year, the Chetco River offers spectacular salmon and steelhead fishing. Speaking of salmon fishing, the world-famous Rogue River is just about 30 miles north at the town of Gold Beach. The Rogue offers world class salmon fishing for much of the year, and guides with boats are readily available. In addition to beach combing or just relaxing, there are a variety of activities available locally. In the summer one can pick blackberries nearby. Or you can venture into quaint little Brookings to visit antique shops or specialty kite stores. Although one doesn’t vacation on the Oregon coast because of its restaurants, there are several good restaurants in town, including some excellent ethnic restaurants. The Southern Oregon Coast is spectacular with rocky formations punctuating the surf. The woods are beautiful including the impressive giant redwoods just over the border in California (just a few miles from Seahorse Manor). And in the fields near Seahorse Manor, growers produce their world-famous Easter lilies. Seahorse Manor offers accommodations for eight people. The house is elegant, and it is not recommended for very small children. Sadly, we cannot allow dogs or other animals.
