Boat Information Come enjoy a night or two: on a 29-foot classic Canadian-built Bayfield Sailboat. It’s sort of like camping on the water. Bring a few sandwiches and your favorite drinks and enjoy marina life's views and sounds. The perfect setting for artists and photographers or for the adventure type that wants to enjoy something different. Or maybe you were thinking of getting into boating this would be a great way to see if this is the thing for you. There is a small galley equipped with A sink with pump water, a coffee maker, ice maker. Remember to unplug everything except lights, fans, and radio. Please wash any dishes or cups used during your stay. There is no refrigerator. You are more than welcome to bring a small cooler. When is best to stay a night? If you want a quiet evening, Sunday night through Thursday is the best, on most of these days, you will almost have the docks, bathroom, and pool to yourself. The Weekends are a little more busy, especially on holidays, please be courteous to my neighbors. Things to keep in mind: Getting on and off the boat can be tricky to navigate, you may have to step over lines, step down, or up considering the tide getting on and off the boat. This is a small space. Bringing hard case luggage is a no-no, instead, pack an overnight bag duffel or soft backpack. No Smoking on the boat. Deck shoes or non-marking sneakers are required (No High Heels, flip-flops, or open-toed shoes for your safety) We have decks of cards and other games on board. We often bring a laptop to watch a movie on deck or below deck. The boat has a porta-potty with instructions only to be used for emergencies or when we take her out sailing. If you find yourself having to use it (Please do not put any paper products, wipes, pads, etc... in the toilet) We strongly urge you to walk up to the bathhouse, especially for number 2 There will be a bathroom key code written on the boat. The boat will remain docked during your stay: Please do not adjust the dock lines during your stay. Boating Controls and radio equipment: Please do not touch or flip any of the switches on the boat. Bedding: We will have the double bed made with a fresh sheet set, blanket, and pillows. But if you want you are welcome to bring your own. Please recognize that the quiet hour is 10 pm to 8 am. There is One Double Bed and technically Two Singles. So, in total this boat can sleep 3 people. With that in mind, we usually use one bed for the storage of backpacks and personal gear while staying aboard. This takes away the bedding area.
