It rests on a double lot, has tons of privacy, and plenty of space to play on land or in the water. Enjoy stunning lake views from the deck, kitchen, den and dining room. At night, warm up by the wood stove inside or start a campfire outside. This is a primary residence. Please message me about potential bookings and dates as I am flexible, I just need several days notice to make sure the house is ready to be used as a rental. Early check in is available on request and we will do our best to accommodate when we can. **We do keep the road plowed for guests during the winter months, but do not advise booking unless you have a truck with four wheel drive during winter** **The lake is great for snow mobiles in Jan/Feb/March after the lake is thoroughly frozen. We are close to many trails that have easy access from this area, some can be accessed directly from the lake ** All. Myself and my co-host are happy to help you anytime during the stay! You can call, text, email, whatever is easiest for you. This is a very private lake, perfect for a peaceful escape, which you will feel the moment you start driving in on the private road. This is not a busy/populated lake with restaurants/bars; but somewhere you go to create your own memories. You will need a car. Motorboats and jet skis are welcome on the lake. There are local ATV/snowmobile trails as well. For those that like to fish, Boyd Lake can have the following fish: Smallmouth Bass, White Perch, Yellow Perch, Chain Pickerel Hornpout (bullhead), White Sucker, Minnows, Common Shiner, Fallfish (Chub) Pumpkinseed Sunfish, and Yellowbelly Sunfish. No public transport, so you will need a car. Nearby stores include Bradford General (450 Main Rd, Bradford, ME 04410) and Tradewinds Market Place (55 Park St #2, Milo, ME 04463). Both sell food, household items, beer, wine, and liquor. We split our time time between here and Charleston, South Carolina. We entirely remodeled this house and we often bring our own friends and family here to enjoy the beauty of this area. We designed it with the intent of combining the best of both our Maine and SC worlds, and trying to feel like we are on vacation even when we are "home". I hope if your staying here it's because you are on a real vacation, but if you have to hop on a Zoom or two, the strong wifi and view from the kitchen table certainly help.
