Take day trips to some of Maine’s most treasured gems, like Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. At night, cozy up by the gas fireplace inside or start a campfire outside while you listen to the Loons sing. Come and make “S’more” memories here at Absolutely Shore! The space This secluded lake offers a truly peaceful escape- you will sense the tranquility as soon as you begin your drive down the private road. Unlike busy lakes filled with restaurants and bars, this is a quiet haven where you can unwind, making lasting memories. A car is necessary to reach the area. Motorboats and jet skis are welcome on the lake, and there are also ATV and snowmobile trails nearby for added adventure. Property Highlights: - Enjoy stunning views of the lake from both inside and outside the home. - Wrap-around porch with Adirondack chairs and a gas grill. - Take advantage of your own private dock; perfect for fishing, swimming, or tying up your boat/kayaks. You can also choose to use the boat landing, located directly across the street. We provide kayaks and life jackets. - Ample outdoor space with additional Adirondack chairs, chaise lounges, and an outdoor picnic table. -Roast some s'mores in the stone fire pit (we provide the firewood). - We are a day trip to some of Maine's most beloved destinations, including Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. -Cozy up by the gas fireplace inside –This is a four-season home with AC in the summer and heat during the winter - There is ample parking on site for two vehicles in addition to your boats, ATVs, jet-skis, etc. Sleeping Arrangements: - The master bedroom is downstairs and features a queen bed. The two additional bedrooms are upstairs and also have queen beds. Additional Features: - New kitchen appliances (gas stove); you are fully equipped and ready for cooking. - Stackable washer/dryer located downstairs - Smart TV downstairs and upstairs - High-speed internet included - Be at ease with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and carbon monoxide detectors. - This house has an on-demand Generac generator in the event of a storm or power outage. Other things to note There may be some drawers that have clothes in them, most are empty for your use. We keep a few of our belongings here for when we use the house too. This house is very special to my family and I. My husband grew up here, and while we currently live in Charleston South Carolina, we often visit and continue to make memories here with our families too. We remodeled this house about six years ago and designed it with the intent of combining the best of both our Maine and South Carolina worlds.
