It is a great day trip and we suggest you drive to Winter Harbor (30 minutes away) and take the Ferry to Bar Harbor and avoid the parking dilemma (downeastwindjammer.com). Awesome 45 minute boat road and bikes are welcome. We provide dish liquid/dishwasher pods, trash bags, liquid hand soap at sinks, coffee filters and all linens. Coffee maker is a Keurig combo ( 12 c. drip or k-cups, not provided). ~~~Please add toilet tissue and paper towels to your shopping list as they are not provided. A Quiet shoreside cottage nestled amongst the trees on the shore of Dyers Bay. The only traffic you will see is an occasional lobster boat passing by to haul their traps. The deck is the perfect place to watch our beautiful Downest sunsets as well! Also a great spot to eat a fresh Maine Lobster on the picnic table! The cottage is quaint yet newly updated to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our two bedroom cottage has a queen bed, two twin beds (king upon request prior to arrival) and the living room has a double size pullout couch (couch is best for children). Please advise us in advance if you require bedding for the couch and or would like the king bed vs the twins. Located just a few miles from hiking trails on Pigeon Hill and Petit Manan Point.
