Description

This unique place with views of the Old Port and Saint Jean Baptiste Cathedral is located in the city center so close to all sites and amenities, making it easy to plan your visit to Bastia. Its long balcony will welcome you for romantic breakfasts admiring the sea and the sunrise, which you can't detach from. Its neat and very clean decoration will finish enchanting you. The space The accommodation is located on the 3rd floor of an old building that is accessed via Boulevard Paoli. It has been recently renovated and redesigned to make your stay perfect. There is an elevator to access it but it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (high step to access it). It is composed of an entrance, a living room with an extraordinary view of the rooftops of Bastia, the entrance to the Old Port and the Cathedral. The living room is equipped with a non-convertible sofa, a table with 4 chairs, a smart TV. There is a bedroom equipped with a standard double bed, a dressing room and a dresser that communicates directly with the shower area. The toilet is separate, as is the equipped and functional kitchen (induction table, range hood, electric oven, microwave, nespresso machine). the apartment can ideally accommodate two people (with a child). A large balcony accommodates a garden table for 2/3 people and allows you to dine outside for those who would not be tempted by the many restaurants and bars (wine, tapas, Corsican charcuterie...) in the neighborhood. After this period, they will have to leave the premises. • Arrival and departure Check-in: From 2 p.m. Check-out: Before noon. It is essential that guests leave the premises in the time allotted in order to prepare the rental and put it on its own for future tenants. • Supplied materials and equipment 1) Induction or glass-ceramic plate: This material must be used under strict supervision, especially if children participate in the stay. It will be turned on only during food cooking phases, turned off the rest of the time. 2) Electric coffee maker: this equipment should be used only for its coffee brewing use. Pods, filters and coffee are not provided 3) Microwave oven: This equipment must be used under strict supervision, especially if children participate in the stay. It will be turned on only during food cooking phases, turned off the rest of the time. Instructions for use: - top button selection of cooking time (turning to the right) - startup (by tapping twice on it) 4) Vacuum cleaner: filters are provided (1 new filter for one month stay), it should be used only to vacuum small dust elements (strictly domestic use) 5) Electric oven: This equipment must be used under strict supervision, especially if children participate in the stay. It will be turned on only during food cooking phases, turned off the rest of the time. 6) Air conditioning: each air conditioner is equipped with a remote control with batteries in working order at check-in. Each remote control must remain on its support. The instructions for use are as follows: - ON/off button - Up or down arrows to raise or lower the temperature - DO NOT TOUCH THE OTHER BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE CONTROL In order to save energy and save the planet, the apartment being very well insulated, travelers are asked not to leave the air conditioning on permanently, but only when they are present: the system being very powerful, the desired temperature is obtained in about fifteen minutes, summer as winter. Common sense, but always good to remember… Do not leave windows open if the heater is on (same when using air conditioning). 7) Additional heaters in living rooms (and some bathrooms): turn on the heater by turning the knob on the desired position (1 hot step -> 7 very hot) - This equipment must be used under strict supervision, especially if children participate in the stay. It will be on only when the guest is present in the apartment and will remain off the rest of the time. In order to protect against microbial and parasitic pollution, since the apartment does not have a CMV system, guests will always have to ensure that it is ventilated (for example by keeping a window open, that of a room during the day, or that of toilets). 8) TV: TVs are all smart TVs. They can therefore project your favorite programs from your tablets/phone, the apartment is equipped with WiFi internet. The code is provided upon arrival and must not be disclosed. It is changed every 3 months. Apartment Boulevard: equipped with ORANGE fiber, reception of orange channels Old Port Apartment: only orange internet 9) Washing machine: a washing machine is at your disposal capacity 8 kg at least. Directions for use: - Put the laundry detergent provided (one dose for each wash, the water in Corsica is not hard) in the container provided (left) - Close the door gently and make sure it is closed by pressing firmly on it - Turn the selector to the desired mode (white, color, etc.) - Press start - Do not attempt to open the window during laundry. In the event of a problem, return the selector to O or stop, wait for the door to open without forcing it Apartment Vieux Port: extend the linen outside on the planned ropes Apartment Boulevard: extend the laundry in the bathroom on the planned stretcher, well drained or use the drying mode of the washing machine (select the drying by turning the selector to the left and press start) Immediately notify the host of anything that appears to be malfunctioning 10) Furniture The plexi or glass furniture chosen by the host is fragile furniture. The content of each apartment is given in appendix 2 with its new price and year of purchase. If an emergency should occur during a guest stay, you can contact the host at the phone number provided by AIRBNB. This will allow them to quickly take care of the issue and allow guests to continue their stay without causing themselves any hassle. Under no circumstances can the guest contact a convenience store or artisan themselves without the prior agreement of the host. In the event that something is damaged: broken plate, damaged furniture, cracked glass, etc., guests must report it as soon as possible for emergencies and during the Check-out for minor damage. • Use of the premises / Lifestyle on holiday My apartments are all strictly non-smoking. There is no smoking area available, except on the street! It is difficult to make the smell of tobacco disappear in an apartment, other guests and the host may be allergic or easily irritated by the residual smells of tobacco. No tobacco, no vaping. You're on vacation, but your neighbors may not be. You have chosen a condominium, in town, in a building where Bastiais live who may be up early to work. Want to party at night? Take advantage of the many facilities provided for this in the neighborhood and respect the neighbors, as well as the maximum number of guests welcomed in each apartment. Fiesta, noise, music ... NOT POSSIBLE ☹Any violation of these rules will be reported on the AIRBNB community. If the condominium complains, guests risk immediate eviction, cancellation of the remaining nights without right to refund. I also love my pets but I do not impose them on my friends who do not like them or may be allergic to their hair or feathers. So my apartments can not accommodate your pets ☹ • Safety instructions Do not smoke indoors to avoid bad smells but especially a fire start. A smoke detector is installed. The door must be pulled upwards using the handle to access it) - In the dressing room of the room (apartment Vieux port) Emergency Numbers • Household Plan A cleaning package is included in the price you offer. The package requested corresponds to a thorough cleaning with disinfection (COVID), washing of sheets, drying, ironing of laundry that is graciously made available to you, suction and washing of floor surfaces, disinfection of the bathroom, defrosting, maintenance or replacement of equipment etc. Nevertheless, it is only because cleaning fees are included in the reservation that the dwelling must be made messy and dirty. AIRBNB's policy now provides that an additional cleaning fee in the event of a nasty surprise may apply. The cleaning package does not correspond to the cleaning that you would not have wanted or had time to do. You must leave the apartment IN the SAME STATE AS THE ONE where YOU FOUND it. Particular attention will be paid to ovens and hoods: these are offered in a perfect state of cleanliness at the entrance, the same is expected at the exit: many cleaning products are provided for this. If you're having trouble, please let the host know. • Household Garbage Garbage bags must be lowered daily to avoid bad odours in the apartment and placed in the garbage containers located in the lobby (green bin: household garbage). For the time being, sorting does not apply in this neighborhood. Guests get their first bag on arrival and then need to make sure they buy it so they can pack their waste. Do not throw garbage directly into green bins. • Health rules In times of pandemic in particular, the main traveller and his companions undertake to respect the barrier measures in force at the time of the stay and ensure that no one presents COVID-19 symptoms or is positive at the time of arrival. • Internet connection Internet charter: the host owns the Internet connection. It is made available free of charge to its guest travelers but the latter undertake to use the internet in the strictest legality: see the appendix to the internet charter. By booking the apartment guests accept the internet charter. • Sanctions In the event of non-compliance with these rules of procedure, a procedure at the host protection site will be initiated. In the event of social behavior that violates the rules of co-ownership or security, an immediate eviction may be carried out (see the chapter "use of the premises" and "security").
