There are stunning views of the Sierra Buttes from both your front yard and back deck with big river sound. This adorable rustic retreat has vintage charm and tons of character with modern amenities including brand new beds and linens. Located on historic Main Street Sierra City allows easy access to downtown shops and restaurants. Wifi & dog friendly. Come Discover the Lost Sierra. The space Built in 1965, this cozy cabin has tons of character and everything you need to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the lakes and trails of the Lost Sierra. Fully stocked kitchen with magical deck overlooking the Yuba River ready for evening BBQ's. Parking for up to 3 vehicles. NOTE: There is one floor plan quirk: to get to the Master Bedroom, you need to walk through either the guest room or the guest bathroom. Other things to note GROCERIES: Sierra City market is located down the street in Sierra City and is the only nearby option for Groceries. It has bare essentials but limited hours, especially in the off season. We recommend loading up on groceries or any specialty items you may want during your stay. GAS: There are no gas stations in Sierra City and limited gas at Bassett's Station, so fill up before heading out. PETS: We are dog friendly and allow up to two well-behaved dogs with no extra charge. No cats or other animals allowed. The dog/s is not allowed on furniture or beds and should not be left alone in the home for an extended period of time. Please pick up after your dog in the yard and the neighborhood. Please bring your own dog bedding and pick up after them. If there is evidence that the dog was on the furniture or any damage, an additional cleaning fee will be assessed. If you are bringing a dog, please be aware that there are ticks in the area. CHECK OUT: Check out is at 10am and our cleaning crew arrives promptly due to same day reservations. Please leave used towels on the floor in bathrooms. Please wash all dishes. No need to make beds, the cleaning crew washes everything. Please turn the heating down to 55 degrees, turn off all lights, and make sure doors are locked. NOTE: The weather can be variable in the Sierras. Our cancellation policy stands regardless of the weather or road closures.
