Les Régniers, 2 cottages to go together

Go together and meet in our 2 cottages, in the heart of a peaceful village hamlet at the crossroads of the Gironde, Dordogne and Lot&Garonne. Here, we welcome you to our home with heart and smile, and you will immediately feel like you are in a family home. Nature, castles, wine, hiking, canoeing, or just enjoying yourself, it's up to you to choose the program with only one rule: take your time! And from September to June, on weekends you leave on Sunday at the time you want. The space Les Régniers are three stone houses that are almost 200 years old in which it is good to live: ours, as well as two cottages. We live right behind the cottages with our own entrance, without sharing the spaces with you, and remain discreet or available. The two cottages are set around a pretty courtyard that makes it easy to move from one to the other and you can bring together 12 to 14 people. THE LARGE GÎTE "le 24", with its floor tiles, stones and old beams, is a warm family house of 120 m2 with: • Air-conditioned main living room with equipped kitchen and living room • Bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, washing machine • Ground floor BEDROOM 1 with double bed 140cm / fan • BEDROOM 2 upstairs with double bed 140cm and crib / fan • BEDROOM 3 upstairs = 4 seater dorm ( 1 double bed and 2 single beds) and its air-conditioned games room dedicated to children THE LITTLE GÎTE "le 33" is an old cellar transformed into a small atypical and cozy house composed of: • a living room with full kitchen and living room • Bathroom with shower, sink, toilet • BEDROOM 4 on the ground floor with 1 double bed 140cm (alcove, no outside window) / fan • BEDROOM 5 upstairs with 1 double bed 140cm / fan • upstairs mezzanine with sofa bed (rather for small sizes) and desk / fan • this cottage has retained the peculiarities of its history and a passage as well as the height of the floor can make it necessary to lower your head. • stone walls keep the temperature right in case of high heat IN THE YARD For sunny days, sit in the small living room for an aperitif then around the large table for the barbecue, and let the small garlands illuminate your evenings. IN THE GARDEN The garden is separate from the cottages, and is accessed by crossing the small street just in front (see map in the photos). No stress with the pool if you have children! • Fully closed • pétanque court and outdoor games • semi-underground wooden pool 7x4m, total depth 1m40, treated with salt, not heated but exposed to the sun all day . Accessibility dates depend on weather conditions (usually June to September). It doesn't work out at the Olympics, but it's great for kids and enough to cool off or have fun. (pool towels are to be provided in season) • Wi-Fi • free private parking for 4-5 vehicles (electric recharging not possible on site). • From September to June, when you book a weekend, you can enjoy the cottages all day on Sunday. LIFE AT THE COTTAGE • we have neighbors and keep the place quiet. Parties are not allowed, but we know that coming together as a group cannot be done in silence. So we're counting on you to make sure your stay goes smoothly, reasonably, and respectfully. • No pets allowed due to allergies and cohabitation with those of our neighbors. • Outsiders are not allowed, unless agreed in advance and within the maximum capacity of the lodges. If necessary, public parking is available in the village center, a 10-minute walk from the cottages. The cottages are located in the heart of the vineyards at: - 35 minutes from Saint Emilion - 25 min to Bergerac - 20 minutes from Duras - 1 hour from Périgueux - 1 hour 15 minutes from Bordeaux The nearest railway station and shops are in Ste Foy La Grande, 6 km from the cottages. The village only has a small bar in which it is possible to eat by prior reservation, and a baguette dispenser. The Dordogne is nearby and the region offers a rich heritage with many opportunities for visits and cultural and sports activities in slow tourism mode. Other things to note Access to visitors is not allowed, except with the prior agreement of the owner and within the limit of the maximum capacity of the cottages. Beds and mattresses cannot be moved. Tents are not allowed in the garden. Non-smoking gîte, ashtrays are available in the courtyard and garden. No pets allowed due to allergies and cohabitation with those of our neighbors. We know that getting together is not done in silence and count on you to remain vigilant about noise pollution and thus respect the calm of the place and the neighborhood.
