Nestled in the hamlet of Smallwood, only 2 hours from NYC, this newly renovated cottage is the perfect getaway from the city and an oasis surrounded by nature. This cottage is perfectly located for access to surrounding lakes and seasonal beaches, hiking trails as well as exploring and discovering the lovely Catskills region. The cottage features a wood stove, spacious deck, a fire pit as well as an all-season jacuzzi to enjoy day or night. The space Our lovely 2BR/1BA cottage has been updated with a new kitchen, bathroom and a large deck that features a spacious spa jacuzzi. The living room invites you into a warm and comfortable space made to make you feel like you are part of the outdoors. We intentionally designed the whole cottage to blur the lines between outdoors and indoors so that even while inside, you will feel part of the surrounding nature. The newly installed wood stove is cozy and the crackling fire is the perfect sound to relax to on cold winter nights. Two large patio doors from the kitchen and living room give you direct access to the spacious deck where you can BBQ, relax in the spa jacuzzi (all year!), lounge around with friends, read in solitude with a glass of wine, or warm up in front of the fire pit with only the sounds of nature and a crackling fire to keep you company. Back inside, the fully stocked kitchen features an island with plenty of space to prepare meals as well as an area for everyone to come together. The dining room features a beautiful, inlaid dining table where friends and family can gather to make wonderful memories after a day spent out in nature or chilling at home. Both cozy bedrooms have multiple, large windows that look out into nature as well as provide the needed privacy and comfort at night. We have fast and reliable internet for your streaming or work on your laptop needs. Guest access You will be able to check in and out by yourself with our keyless entry. You will be issued your own private access code for the duration of your stay. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: * Check in is after 3PM and check out before 11 AM* *No parties or events* *Please note there are visible neighbors, but privacy is definitely assured* *Pets are allowed and welcome. We will charge a $75 pet fee for the extra pet cleaning service. *No smoking is allowed inside the house *Please only use the fire pit and wood stove while at the house and please make sure that all flames are out before leaving premises. *Power outages are common in the region especially during inclement or harsh weather conditions. We have flashlights provided for such possible occurrences.
