Beautiful Golf Course Home - Near Lake & Wineries

Amazing home on Governors Run Golf Course! Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the water of the 6th hole. The home is less than a mile from Carlyle Lake and Walmart. You will have access to the entire main area of the house, two bedrooms and one separate bathroom. NO access to garage or basement. THIS IS OUR PRIMARY RESIDENCE. The space will be clean and personal belongings will be put away but the home is lived in. The space The home is on Governors Run Golf Course with an amazing view looking out over the 6th hole. It is less than a mile from Carlyle Lake and Walmart. If you prefer to bike, there is a trail that will take you right to the lake and lead you across and around the Kaskaskia river. You can find a number of excellent short hiking trails around Carlyle Lake as well. There are several delicious bars and restaurants close by that you will have to try. Some of our favorites spots include: 1. Chaddy Daddy's BBQ - Walk-up window to order BBQ with the best ribs in town. Outdoor seating available. 2. Duey's on Fairfax - Quaint restaurant/bar serving delicious sandwiches and salads. 3. Guzman's - Authentic Mexican restaurant 4. Bretz Wildlife Lodge & Winery - Informal eatery & winery offering American fare & live music in a space inspired by a safari lodge 5. The Keys Restaurant & Lounge - The Keys offers good food, live music and a view of the lake if you sit upstairs. 6. Twelve Oaks Vineyard - Small family run winery with a picturesque view. Guest access You are centrally located and within minutes of Lake Carlyle, Governors Run Golf Course, Carlyle Lake Golf Course and numerous restaurants and bars. There is limited access to Lyft in the area so you will likely have to walk, bike or drive to most locations. Guest Access is all on one level and bathroom has its own entry separate from both bedrooms. No access to garage or basement. Other things to note There are outdoor security cameras. 4 person limit is strictly enforced. Deposit is forfeited if more than 4 guests sleeping in home.
