June 8, 2022 update: it’s getting warm in the mountains & our natural lake is starting to get lower Kitchen: fully stocked with gas stove, dishwasher, toaster oven, bakeware, pots & pans, utensils, indoor and outdoor dish ware, cooking oil, a spice rack and wine glasses. Caffeine: Keurig coffee maker, K-cup coffee pods, creamer, sugar, coffee mugs and a French press if you prefer :) Kid friendly: Children’s dish ware, flatware, cups and a booster seat for one are all provided. Children’s puzzles, a little library with books & toys available - tucked away in loft bedroom closet. Entertainment: Our living room has an adjustable TV mount, Roku with Netflix & more, surround sound system with AUX output as well as Bluetooth Echo dot speaker. Plenty of board games including Battle of the Sexes, Monopoly, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Scrabble, checkers & plenty of puzzles to choose from as well as Nintendo Wii with games. High speed WIFI is included with 2 desks available for WFH &/or virtual learning. Heating and cooling: Ecobee smart heating thermostat and wood burning fireplace. Heater in master! Master bedroom has ceiling fan. Outdoors: main patio deck has a picnic table & extra seats with a large patio umbrella and a propane BBQ grill with push start ignition. Backyard picnic table with lake views also available. Cleaning: our housekeeper is fully vaccinated and we use hospital grade cleaning products and disinfectants Neighbors: please be courteous & respect our neighbors. They are in close proximity. No parties, no more than 6 guests or pets are allowed. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. *Breaking these house rules will lead to cancellation of your stay with no refunds* Location: We are 8 minutes away from Snow Valley and 6 minutes away from Downtown Running Springs which has awesome Saturday Farmer’s Market. We are about 2 hours East of Los Angeles, 1.5 hours West of Joshua Tree National Park, 1 hour & 15 mins hours to Palm Springs, and 1.5 hours to San Diego. Snow season: Before heading up the mountain, please make sure to check local weather conditions and traffic reports to be prepared as snow chains will be enforced by Caltrans during snowy weather and when the roads are icy. No refunds will be given. ****** Checking in: Self check-in instructions are set up with Airbnb that include step by step instructions with photos. Airbnb sends it out a few days before your check-in with your reservation details, how to access the cabin and what code will be given. ****** Guest access Guests have access to entire top two floors of the cabin with wooden parking deck that is pictured in listing. Two storage sheds are closed and not for guests. Bottom 3rd floor with dirt entrance is closed off for storage/maintenance/housekeeping staff/owner’s unit. You may use the picnic table under the large pine tree, it is a part of our property :) Other things to note Please treat our home well.
