This house is a true adobe craftsman bungalow, built in 1912 and is part of the Silver Hill Historic district. Come stay and discover the character and charm that this old home offers. The location is great, there are a number of good restaurants and shops within walking distance. Permit#107588 The space The house has been split into 2 completely separate units, this is unit A and is the front part of the house. House Features: *Large enclosed porch is a great place to spend time enjoying your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. *Large front yard * Minisplits (heating/cooling) units in each room *All-in-one Washer/Dryer (dryer uses extraction and not heat to dry so you will need to hang dry) *Close to UNM, Nob Hill, restaurants & shops *Quick freeway access *Minutes from the Airport (3miles) The Kitchen: * Fully stocked with all appliances EXCEPT a dishwasher * Stocked with dishes, silverware, cups/glasses, and cookware * Coffee maker (traditional drip) w/ supply of coffee. French press and bean grinder also available. This listing is the front part of the house and has an enclosed porch & yard. This is an older home, and has great charm and character but it also comes with the creaks and cracks that occur over time. The fireplace is nonfunctional Bathroom is located off the master bedroom Parking: One (small/med size) car garage & Street parking Permit for one car is provided (you will first park on the street and enter house to get the parking permit, must go in car ASAP). $250 charge for lost or stolen permit not returned to hook on checkout. We are not responsible for tickets issued, cars towed/booted or any damage to guest’s vehicles whether from casualty or negligent or intentional wrongful acts of other guests or third parties. Guest waives any and all claims, damages, and/or causes of action for personal injury or property damage against us (the host) for use of the parking space. We are not responsible for any articles left in vehicles. There is NO dishwasher in this home. Trash - city cans for trash & recycling for both units are located on the west side of the house. You get to them by going through the gate on the west side of the house (walk outside and turn left). We may ask that you assist us in taking them to the street for city pickup. Washer/dryer combo: Super energy efficient, but it takes hours to do a load, so start it when you go to bed or leave for the day. It dries through extraction, not with heat, so items are still slightly damp when the cycle is complete. This allows you to shake out wrinkles and hang to finish. Each room has a mini split (ac/heating unit) installed. There are also fans in the house. Home is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, this property is located in a historic neighborhood in the desert. Bugs are a part of life here in the southwest. While we make every effort to keep it spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug. Please be aware of this and make sure you're ok with the possibility before booking. Permit#107588 City trash collection: Guest may be asked to help take city trash/recycling to street and back. Starter Supplies: We provide starter supply of guest consumables only, anything additional will need to be purchased.
