->09/04-09/12 only animal care - no further assistance<- Our hobby farm is idyllically located in a completely quiet location. Two cats, 6 sheep as well as chickens and ducks live on the farm. The apartment has two bedrooms, a kitchen with dining area, a bathroom, a toilet and a sofa bed, and can accommodate up to 6 adults. As a self-caterer, you take care of the daily animal care and support us 1-2 hours per day per person with current tasks. You are also responsible for the final cleaning of the apartment. The space ->Sep. 4 - Sep. 12, only animal care - no further assistance<- The apartment offers comfortable beds as well as all the basic amenities (bed linen, towels, crockery). The tap water has the best drinking water quality. Cleaning supplies and toilet paper are provided for the start, as well as a few things like salt, oil or shower gel. In principle, however, you are responsible for the things you need (groceries, etc.). We are happy to help if something is urgently needed. Guests who arrive without a car are also welcome to go shopping with us, provided we are at home. There is also a 24-hour store with local groceries that is within walking distance. Heating is necessary in winter about every two to three days and does not take much time. You can spend many hours with the animals to your liking. With us, no animals are allowed in the house, so not even the cats. Guest access ->Sep. 4 - Sep. 12, only animal care - no further assistance<- The apartment and the entire outdoor area are accessible to guests. The heating and the cats' feeding areas are located in the basement. Chickens, ducks and sheep are in outbuildings. Apart from caring for the animals and heating, all other buildings and rooms are private and should only be entered or used by guests by arrangement. Other things to note ->Sep. 4 - Sep. 12, only animal care - no further assistance<- No smoking anywhere on the property. Each guest is responsible for their own safety on site. Please let us know when you will arrive and also in good time (a few hours in advance) if your plans change. In addition to caring for the animals, there are current tasks on the farm that you will help us with. These vary depending on the season and weather, e.g., setting up/taking down mobile fences, transporting wood, gardening, mowing the lawn, setting up or taking down things. We would like about 1-2 hours per day per person of active help on the farm, but the time allocation for this is flexible, so you can also block out the time for it. Feel free to do a little more at the beginning and less at the end. Conversely, we have had bad experiences. If you are not sure whether what you are doing is appropriate or sufficient, let us know. That can be easily resolved. There is an additional tourist tax for the municipality of €2.50 per night per guest over the age of 14 to be paid locally. As a guest, you will perform the final cleaning of the apartment. This means you take out the trash, clean all surfaces, clean the bathroom and toilet, vacuum the apartment, and remove the bed linen before you leave. The apartment should be left in such a way that the next guests can move in immediately. Cleaning products are available in the apartment. Should the apartment nevertheless not be left clean, we will have to charge for the necessary cleaning (€50 per hour). Unfortunately, we have had to charge for cleaning for two guests so far, as the guests simply had not cleaned at all and the apartment could not be handed over to the next guests right away. If you are unsure, it is best to talk to us on site; we are very nice :). Ideally, you will do a short inspection of the apartment with us when you leave. Please bring clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Feel free to store it in the basement.
