This Rustic Retreat offers traditional northern knotty pine interior while offering most modern amenities. Sleeps a total of six persons in two queen bedrooms featuring 12” memory foam mattresses and a queen sofa sleeper. Propane heat, electric throughout, kitchen with gas range, refrigerator, and coffee pot. Includes kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, and gas grill. Bathroom with vanity and shower but no indoor toilet. The cabin does have its own private modern outhouse. The space Culhane Lake Resort is an off the grid hamlet of four rental cabins that have been recently renovated to offer modern comforts. Because of its remoteness, there is no TV or WIFI. There is now limited cell service in our area for calls and texting. Culhane Lake Resort is pet friendly. Up to two pets are allowed in this cabin. Pets must be approved prior to booking. Please review our pet policy listed below. Please review the pet policy! There is a bathroom with vanity and shower but no indoor toilet. It does have a new, clean, privy outside the door. Because of limited space we do not allow atv’s at this property. We do allow boats and the use of a dock. We do offer free guest use of kayaks for use on Culhane lake. Please note that this cabin is powered by solar power so please no electric cooking devices or fans. CPAPS are allowed so please feel free to bring you if needed. This cabin rents from May 1st to October 31st and requires a four night minimum rental. This cabin is a non-smoking cabin. Guests are charged a minimal cleaning fee to cover costs of cleaning and sanitation but are still responsible for the following upon departing: Wash, dry and put away dish ware, utensils, silverware, pots and pans. Wipe counters, tables and sinks. Use bags provided and place trash in designated container outside. PETS WE ARE PET FRIENDLY BUT IF YOUR DOG(s) AREN’T 100% FRIENDLY PLEASE DON’T BRING THEM. Guests are allowed to bring two pets and must be approved prior to booking. Cats must be litter trained. Dogs must be friendly with other guests and their pets, including the hosts dogs and must not bother other guests. We do not allow barkers out of courtesy to other guests. PLEASE DO NOT BRING FEMALES IN SEASON. We do not allow pets to be left unattended in cabins while you are away unless your pet is crate trained and does not bark or howl. If you place a reservation and there is a problem with your dog barking and/or not being friendly then you will be asked to leave and no refunds will be issued. Guest access Guests are invited to use the common grounds, including lakeside fire pit and the dock. Other things to note Immerse yourselves into the natural beauty that the Upper Peninsula of Michigan offers. We are commonly told that the habitat surrounding our resort resembles that of Northern Canada.
