The Barnstead Beauty is a wonderful 4 bedroom 3 full bathroom waterfront home on Lily Lake in Barnstead NH. The home is great for family trips, getaways with friends, and more! Enjoy stunning sunsets over the lake with front row views from the backyard, fire pit, and large wrap around partially-covered deck. You’re sure to enjoy the combination of the home and Nature in the palm of your hand! ***THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE*** House has a security system following all airbnb guidelines. A long driveway off the main road brings you to the front of our home and ample parking for 4-5 cars. A wrap-around deck brings you to the home’s main entrance and you begin to see the beautiful lake and property that the home sits on. As you enter the home, you see that it has a beautiful open-concept living room and kitchen area. The oversized island with granite countertops naturally becomes a popular gathering spot. The gas fireplace, detailed stonework, elegant kitchen, tall vaulted ceiling and wood beams all work together to give this space a very special energy. You’ll love the large windows that pour sunlight into this room, and the two sliding doors opening out to the covered porch are sure to be used often! You’ll find 2 bedrooms on this floor with a full bathroom, including tub & shower. One of these bedrooms has a queen bed while the other has a Twin-over-Full Bunk Bed and fold-out single sleeper sofa. Both rooms have their own closets and 32” Roku Smart TV’s. Up the stairs, there is a large Master Bedroom with an additional comfortable seating area, ample closet space, dressers, and a full en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, the lower level provides an additional spacious living area and convenient exit to the backyard. On this level, you can walk through the stylish sliding barn door into the 4th Bedroom with two Twin-over-Full bunk beds and stunning lake views. The spacious backyard faces west and gets amazing sunset views! It’s great for soaking up the rays in the summer, lawn games such as cornhole (provided), and enjoying the sandy beach! We provide 4 kayaks and a Stand-Up-Paddleboard for your group to use and enjoy! The fire pit is excellent for gathering together in the backyard, making a campfire, eating s’mores, and creating lifelong memories. The side of the backyard has a separate fenced in area that is perfect for dogs to run off-leash without any concerns. Pets are allowed at this property for a $150 fee per pet per stay. We provide dog bowls, treats, bags, and toys in a cabinet above the refrigerator. Not all breeds are allowed, due to insurance restrictions, please contact the host with details on pets traveling with you. Lily Lake is not a large lake - rather it is much more private, quiet, and avoids the many boats and crowds that you find on bigger lakes. Less noise and congestion! Our lake feels very private because much of it is surrounded by conservation land. Life’s simple pleasures are appreciated here: Fishing in the morning, sun-bathing with a cocktail on our dock, floating on your back and enjoying the water, and sunset kayak rides. For those who crave a day trip to a bigger lake, we are 10 minutes from Upper & Lower Suncook Lake and just 20 minutes away from Alton Bay (Lake Winnipesaukee). The World-Famous New England Fall Foliage is absolutely gorgeous in the Autumn season, and Lily Lake freezes over in the winter time which can be great for ice fishing, snowshoeing, and ice skating! This property truly is a gem all 12 months of the year. The house comes very well stocked for your convenience. We provide all guests with clean linens and towels, hair dryers, shampoos and conditioners, pots and pans, cooking utensils, high end stainless steel appliances, drip coffee maker (multiple coffee flavors provided!) and more! There is also a 4-burner BBQ Grill on the deck for guests to use. All you have to do is show up with your favorite groceries and your luggage to have an excellent stay! Guests will have access to the entire home and property, including the backyard and sandy beach lakefront. Full disclosure: There are a couple of private closets that we keep locked through the home that we use for storage supplies, extra linens, etc. Guests will be sure to have plenty of closets, as well as additional dressers in bedrooms for storage. To check in to the home, you will receive a personalized 4 digit code to the front door keypad for easy access during your stay! You’ll definitely want to have a car to get around the local areas. 5-7 min drive to Pittsfield, the neighboring town, where there is a local grocery store, café, Rite Aid pharmacy, convenience stores, gas stations, and a few eat-in and take-out restaurants. 20 min drive to Concord - Steelegate Mall, Target, Walmart, Movie Theatre, Famous Restaurant Chains, and much more! 20 min drive to Alton Bay - you may be able to spot a sea-plane land or take off! Also a great place for a boat rental by-the-day at the marina to take your group out to explore the massive Lake Winnipesaukee. Great Dinner options here too! 25 min drive to Weirs Beach in Laconia - one of my personal favorite public beaches on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. The pier has lots of fun games, shops, and food choices. Rent Jet skis and explore the big lake! 25 min drive to Tanger Outlets in Tilton, with many popular brands at discount prices in Sales-Tax-Free New Hampshire!
