Newly remodeled barn/loft. Beautiful location just outside the Village of Arroyo Grande. Close to wineries, Avila and Pismo Beach, the Village of Arroyo Grande (1 mile), San Luis Obispo, biking, hiking, Oceano Dunes, and everything else on the Central Coast. Nice and quiet rural home, yet only 1 mile to town. Great micro-climate: sunny, foggy, wind-protected. Beautiful afternoons and sunsets from the deck. The space There are two houses on the property. You have the entire Red Barn to yourself. My wife and I live in the other house. The Barn is comfortable and warm. We gutted the place in 2020 and put in a bunch of new windows with window seats, a new kitchen with brand new appliances, and a nice butcher block and eating area. French doors connect the kitchen to the deck creating a nice outdoor living space for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. While sitting on the deck you will enjoy the birds. There are songbirds, many types of hawks, a resident Barn Owl, and any number of others. My wife's father built the barn in the early 1980s (she was raised here). We love the Central Coast and all the great activities that are available. From surfing, wine tasting, the beaches and hikes, sailing, biking, and more, The Red Barn is a perfect place to start your day and an even better place to wind up in the evening. We want you to relax and have a great time, and whatever we can do to help, we will. EVENTS - PLEASE INQUIRE. We have a small pasture with a gazebo that is perfect for small gatherings. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the parking area for cornhole, or any games. The pasture and gazebo area are also available for a glass of wine or picking lemons or any summer fruit if you are lucky enough to be here when it is ripe.
