The space Your Luxury Eco Tent stay is located in the stunning Flowerdale Estate. The estate is a uniquely beautiful and historic venue for your weekend getaway. Nestled between the Yarra Valley and Kilmore in central Victoria, it’s just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne to the perfect country retreat. Set upon the countryside, our luxury glamping Eco Tents look out on to the scenic Valley of a Thousand Hills. Wake up to nature in your luxurious queen sized bed crafted from responsibly sourced Australian messmate timber and fitted with superior linen bedding. Each Eco Tent is adorned with an original artwork by an indigenous artist from The Torch program, depicting native fauna found on our property. Each dwelling is named in the Taungurung First Nations language of the animal or plant featured in the painting. Soak up the view during the day by sitting out on your private decking and at night gather around the fire pit to enjoy the beautiful country stars. It is the perfect spot to reconnect and recharge in this TV free zone. Your luxury space boasts a full ensuite, private deck and fire pit stocked with wood for those chilly nights! Each tent has a fridge, as well as a Nespresso coffee machine and kettle to prepare that much needed warm drink on a cold morning. Please note, three of our tents have an outdoor stone bath, with the remaining tent boasting a relaxing outdoor lounge. Gracie’s Restaurant, located in the main Homestead of the estate, showcases the best produce sourced from our local Kilmore, Upper Goulburn and Yarra Valley region. If you would like to reserve a table for lunch or dinner, please let us know! A beautiful breakfast is included in your room rate! We have a comprehensive range of recreational facilities to ensure you make the most of your time here on the Estate. Take a walk around the property, explore the paddocks and say hello to our friendly animals, or join us for feeding time! The King Parrot Creek runs through the property if you are craving a bush walk, you might even spot a platypus! We have undercover tennis courts if you fancy some sport, and a solar heated indoor pool for an afternoon dip. During the winter months, a cosy fireplace and a selection of board games await in the shared lounge area of the main Homestead. Playing on our large billiards table with a drink in hand is also a great way to spend an afternoon. Car parking for your vehicle is right beside your tent for easy access. The main Homestead is a short walk from your eco tent, giving you the privacy of your own space while having access to shared spaces for meals and lounging. If you need a lift to the Homestead, our little golf cart is the perfect way to get to and from your dinner reservation. No pets are allowed overnight, but we have plenty of animals here to keep you entertained! They also make for great photo opportunities. If you do require Pet Sitters, we have some great local contacts. Other things to note Tents with a bath and fire pit are allocated in the order they are received. As such, you may not be allocated to a tent with a bath. Please note in your booking request if you would like a bath, and we will do our very best to accommodate this.
