By day you can take a leisurely stroll around the property, wine and dine in our restaurant or try your hand at billiards. At night, gather around the fire pit to admire the country stars. Your package includes a delicious country cooked breakfast to complete your memorable stay. The space The Guesthouse stay is located in the stunning Flowerdale Estate. The estate is a uniquely beautiful and historic venue for your weekend getaway. Nestled between the Yarra Valley and Kilmore in central Victoria, it’s just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne to the perfect country retreat. Set upon the countryside, the Guesthouse looks out on to the scenic Valley of a Thousand Hills. Soak up the view during the day by sitting out on your private decking and at night gather around the fire to enjoy the beautiful country stars. It is the perfect spot to reconnect and recharge. Your cosy space boasts 4 queen bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, private deck and yard, full kitchen and dining area, lounge with TV and fire stocked with wood for those chilly nights! Gracie’s Restaurant, located in the main Homestead of the estate, showcases the best produce sourced from our local Kilmore, Upper Goulburn and Yarra Valley region. If you would like to reserve a table for lunch or dinner, please let us know! A beautiful buffet breakfast is included in your room rate and is served in Gracie’s Restaurant from 8:00am – 9:30am. Your breakfast includes a selection of hot foods such as eggs, bacon, mushrooms, breakfast sausages and overnight tomatoes as well as continental style items like our house made granola and freshly baked pastries. Tea, coffee and juice are also available during breakfast service. We have a comprehensive range of recreational facilities to ensure you make the most of your time here on the Estate. Take a walk around the property, explore the paddocks and say hello to our friendly animals, or join us for feeding time! The King Parrot Creek runs through the property if you are craving a bush walk, you might even spot a platypus! We have undercover tennis courts if you fancy some sport, and a solar heated indoor pool for an afternoon dip. During the winter months, a cosy fireplace and a selection of board games await in the shared lounge area of the main Homestead. Playing on our large billiards table with a drink in hand is also a great way to spend an afternoon. Car parking for your vehicle is right beside the house, for easy access. No pets are allowed overnight, but we have plenty of animals here to keep you entertained! They also make for great photo opportunities.
