Nestled on a quiet dead end street you're a quick walk to Broadway’s cafe's/ restaurant row & about a 15 min walk to the start of Newport’s historic Thames St downtown. You’ll find boutique shops & waterfront dining in/near Bowen & Banister’s Wharf. Spending the day at the beach? - 1st Beach(Easton) -7 min drive - 2nd Beach(Sachuset) -13 min drive - 3rd Beach - 15 min drive - Gooseberry Beach - 12 min drive The space The main level offers beautiful coffered ceilings, an open-concept fully stocked kitchen/dining area with a built-in corner nook overlooking a lush hydrangea tree and the backyard. There's a hanging chair placed between the living room and dining room, perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail. The kitchen features granite countertops, updated appliances—including a gas stove—and opens to an entryway leading to the fenced-in backyard. You’ll find an outdoor shower with changing area - great for a refreshing rinse after a day at the beach or a surf session. In the far right corner is a self watering vegetable garden for guest to enjoy fresh produce. A pergola sits on a slate stone patio complete with a dining table and chairs - we offer a Weber grill for BBQ etc. A nice area for your sunset dinners with the glow from the hanging lights. The 2nd story has a full bathroom with a restored clawfoot tub, a large 10in rainfall shower head and brushed gold accents throughout. On the second level you'll have 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed, small dresser, small closet and an A/C unit. An additional room can be used as a study/lounge/ office with couch and built in cabinet that could be used as stand up desk. - 2 bedrooms - each have a closet, small dresser and window A/C unit. - Additional room could be used as an office, it has a built in cabinet with storage. Guest access Don’t worry about parking - there's a private driveway for 2 cars—an amenity few other Newport properties provide. Resident parking stickers are NOT REQUIRED on our street! Other things to note - We will provide towels & the following linens: 1 comforter per bed. 1 set of sheets per bed. (1 fitted, 1 flat and 2 pillowcases) 2 beach towels per room. - Off of bedroom #1 is a locked storage room for host use only. - We DO NOT offer cable, only a Roku Smart TV. - We would be grateful if you could please water the indoor plants once a week :)
