Remodeled 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath beach home nestled in Old Saybrook, CT. The house features a master bedroom with a queen bed and 1/2 bath. Another queen bedroom with a small desk, chair and printer. The third bedroom has two twin beds and two additional bean bag chairs for relaxing. There is one full bathroom with tub. Central air and WiFi provided. The house is single level but the washer and dryer are located in the basement. The outdoor space is very private with a gas grill and table for six. There is also a fire pit with 6 adult Adirondack chairs (and 3 kids chairs) for those nights you are craving a s’more! The property is a short bike ride to Cornfield Point beach (about a 1/2 mile) or just minutes away by car to Harvey's beach. The Cornfield Point community is golf cart friendly. Golf carts can be rented from Hawkes Golf Vehicles in Clinton, CT. They do deliver/pick up the vehicle. The area is great for walking or running. Take a trip down Maple Avenue towards Fenwick and you will not be disappointed with the views. Lighthouses can be seen in the distance along this path. Beach chairs, towels, toys, umbrella, beach cart and bikes provided. Nothing to do but pack your bags! Old Saybrook is a great location for families, couples or a girls trip. If you are looking to retreat to a peaceful location with the most magnificent views, this is the place to be! Great place to stay if you are attending a wedding at the Saybrook Point Resort and Marina. About a 6 minute drive. Available for questions via text, email and cell phone Old Saybrook is a quaint town with lots of restaurants, shops, and beaches. Activities to do nearby: Take a short drive to Fresh Salt at the Saybrook Point Resort & Marina for a lovely waterfront outdoor dining experience. Or try out some of the restaurants in town like the Penny Lane Pub, Liv’s Oyster Bar, The Essex, Paperback Cafe or Sweet Luna's for some frozen dessert. Browse the antique and gift shops or take a ride to one of the outlet malls in Clinton or Westbrook. See the Saybrook Breakwater Lighthouse or visit one of the nearby state parks. Hammonasset Beach, Rocky Neck, Harkness Memorial or the Gillette Castle, to name a few. Enjoy some wine at Staehly Farm and Winery in East Haddam and Chamard Vineyards in Clinton. Play a round of golf at Fenwick Golf Course which has beautiful views and is the oldest public golf course in Connecticut. Take a day trip to Mystic, CT. A historic village with local restaurants and shops and only about 30 minutes away. Or take a trip to the east end of Long Island. Old Saybrook sits directly across from it and there is a ferry that leaves from New London and arrives in Orient Point. The ferry trip takes a little over an hour. You can take your car with you and explore for the day. Main living space has 52 inch tv equipped with Amazon Firestick. Master bedroom has 40 inch tv equipped with Xfinity streaming box. Queen bedroom has 32 inch fire tv. Board games, binoculars and Connecticut bird watching book available for use during your stay. For full disclosure, the owner does have a cat at the house on occasion. All bedding is kept separate.
