Private, Quiet, Wooded 2BR Guest Apartment on Cooper Mountain - Convenient to Beaverton, Portland & Wine Country. Level2 EV charging available. The space Our house is on a wooded lot in a suburban area between Portland and the Willamette valley (wine country). This guest apartment has its own private entrance and is completely independent from the rest of our house (no shared spaces or open access to the main residence). It's almost like being in a tree house - you are sort of above everything with territorial views of the woods & the street below from the large wrap-around deck. The 2 Bedrooms are similar with queen beds, dressers & large closets. 1 room has a small desk. Both rooms have access to the covered section of the deck where you can relax on the Adirondack chairs. The Living area has 2 sofas (one a full size sleeper sofa), a 55" 4K TV + books/games. Netflix/Amazon/Disney/Hulu, local DTV & PS3 + games are provided. The vintage video game (Space Duel / Asteroids) is *usually* working (as well as any 40yr old electronics) - make sure to challenge yourself or other guests to a match! The Cooking area is a high functioning, well equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, disposal, medium size fridge with icemaker, cooktop & microwave. Baking is limited to the large toaster oven. The kitchenette is generally equipped with a few basic staples - a modest spice selection, tea, sugar, cooking oil, etc. If you're a coffee drinker we've got you covered - you have a choice of regular drip, french press or full-on espresso (tamper, milk pitcher & knock box included). There's a good quality burr grinder loaded with beans so you can dial-in your brew. The dining table can seat up to 6 people (4+2 stacking chairs) There is also a gas BBQ & patio table out on the deck. There is a 40A Level 2 EV charger available - If you would like to charge your EV please contact us & we will coordinate the parking spot in front of the charger. Fee is $2/hr. So what's not to like? -The stairs up from the parking area are a little steep. Please consider that if you have accessibility issues. Of course please message us or knock on the front door if you'd like any help with your bags. -There's no laundry in the apartment. If we're around we can usually provide access to the laundry in the main house. If we're not available a drying rack is included in the apartment & a laundromat is about 1.5 miles away. Guest access The apartment is well contained with its own indoor & outdoor areas. Self check-in is via key / lockbox. There is a single parking space at the end of the driveway near the entry stairs as well as additional parking on the street below.
