The space Discover a truly unique stay aboard my magnificent 1937 Spits ship, once a vital cargo vessel on Dutch rivers. In 2009, the expansive cargo hold was masterfully transformed into inviting guest accommodation, blending modern comfort with the authentic charm of a historic ship. You'll feel the gentle sway of the tides – Rotterdam, as a bustling seaport, is connected to the sea, leading to a natural 2-meter tidal difference. Guest access The ship is thoughtfully divided into three distinct apartments. I reside in the charming front section, while the expansive middle apartment, spanning approximately 80 square meters, is now available for up to 7 guests. The entrance leads you into the spacious and comfortable living room with open plan kitchen. There is a double berth (some call it Harry Potter bed) in the living room. Of the living room on one side you’ll find double bedroom with 2 single beds and an ensuite showerroom and separate toilet. On the other side there is another spacious Bedroom with 2 single beds and a loftbed and an ensuite Shower room. The third apartment is the Wheelhouse, the original captain's quarters, which sleeps up to 4 guests and can also be booked through Airbnb.
