This stunning modified A-frame sits at an elevation of 2800 ft above sea level, offering breathtaking views of the Piedmont region. Inside the A-frame, you'll find a spacious and inviting great room with classic vaulted ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, bar counter with 2 stools, and a dining table that seats 8. The cozy living area leads out through sliding doors to the expansive deck with a view that will take your breath away. There's also a separate living room with plenty of seating, a smart TV, and two recliners positioned perfectly to take in the stunning mountain views. Large sliding doors and windows allow you to feel truly connected with the outdoors. In case you're interested in stargazing, there's even a telescope and binoculars. And in case of a power outage, we've got you covered with games, books, and candles in the cabinet next to the fireplace. The entire home is heated with baseboard heaters and a wood-burning stove. The master bedroom is located off the kitchen and features a queen bed, ample clothing storage, and a sliding door with access to a private deck and bench. You'll love the blackout curtains that make it easy to sleep in, as well as the wall air conditioner for warm summer nights. The full bathroom is en-suite with a generous curved walk-in shower and single vanity. We provide a limited selection of sample-sized emergency necessities, as well as full-sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. On the second floor, you'll find two additional bedrooms. The first is a spacious and light-filled room with a sliding door to a private balcony with seating. This room features clothing storage, a wall air conditioner, a WC, and a vanity. Under the bed, you'll even find a toddler mattress, and sheets are available in the chest of drawers. The second bedroom is a cozy loft with a queen-size bed and a small desk for remote work. Our internet service is sufficient to keep up with work while away from home. Step outside onto the large covered and uncovered deck and take in the fresh mountain air while enjoying a meal at the outdoor table, firing up the gas grill, or snuggling up by the firepit with provided firewood on a chilly night. We love that the property offers enough grassy area in front of the home to have a picnic, play frisbee, or even practice yoga with a stunning mountain sunrise as your backdrop! We are always available by phone if our guests need anything. The house is in a small gated community with large lots. There are areas to walk around the community including a small pond, dirt roads, and an historic cemetery. The neighborhood is quiet, and secluded, but accessible to most amenities within 20 minutes. If you do decide to stay at our lovely home, we do charge the following fees separately after you book: 1) Refundable Security Deposit - $300. We recommend paying this with a credit card since it will only be a hold placed on your card during your reservation. If you pay with a debit card or direct ACH transfer, the money will be withdrawn from your account 3 days before check-in and refunded 3 days afterwards upon successful inspection of the premises. 2) Dogs - $100/dog per reservation. We allow up to three dogs per reservation to be paid after booking. Please note this is not reflected in your reservation price and is an additional charge. 3) We also require all of our guests to upload a photo ID to their precheck-in portal to confirm their identity before we will give access to the property.
