Watch the sun rise and set in wide-open skies. Star gaze.Mid-May, we have thousands of fireflies. However, please note: no children under 12, no pets, NO SMOKING The space NOTE: No smoking and not suitable for children or pets. Wifi available for extra fee on request. You will have the entire small barn apartment to yourself, complete with full kitchen. Situated on 80 acres of pastures and woods with creek access. Farm animals: Cows, calves, sheep, donkey, horse, chickens, guineas, and friendly dogs on property. Wildlife: coyotes, bald eagles, wild turkeys, bobcats, rabbits, and sometimes mice... Lots of bird-watching. One hour from Nashville (add 8 minutes to get to the airport), ten minutes from the Natchez Trace Parkway and Williamsport fishing lakes, fifteen minutes from Centerville (home of Minnie Pearl and two wineries), 30 minutes from historic Leiper's Fork, 50 minutes from Franklin, 54 minutes down Natchez Trace to Loveless Cafe. Guest access Plenty of space for parking, even if you have an RV. You will have the entire apartment (but only access to the barn 1/2 for corn hole games, bicycles, camp chairs, or charcoal BBQ grills. The barn is shared by us all) You’ll have your own yard, creek access, and access to all the walking trails. Other things to note Please be aware that this is an actual farm in the country. If you don't like dark nights or hearing coyotes howl, this is not for you. At some seasons, there are flies, although we rarely have mosquitos due to our large purple martin population. But if you crave a respite from the crazies, this is your place! Therapeutic, calm, serene, peaceful - those are the adjectives that people use to describe our farm. This is a no smoking environment, however.
