Krouson Mansion is a small mansion, built in 1950, which was recently renovated while retaining all the elements that are part of its identity. The unique design of the house and the strategic location near the most impressive parts of central Crete are the special elements of the house. The stone, wood and green color of nature are harmoniously combined to match the aesthetics of a traditional house. The space It can accommodate 6 people and has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. - The interior space consists of 70sq.m. configured on 2 floors. ▪︎ 1st Floor has a living room with fireplace, dining room with semi-outdoor space and a fully equipped kitchen. The colors of the olive groves, the orange and lemon trees, the scents of wild rosemary, thyme and sage and the sounds of cicadas and crickets exude the Mediterranean atmosphere. The visitor will have the opportunity to enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine in its most honest version since they can taste the most famous Greek products such as olive oil, honey, wine, herbs, fruits and vegetables in the place where they are actually produced. In our village as well as in the surrounding villages you can find options in taverns with traditional cuisine and live music and smell the aroma of Greek coffee in traditional cafes, thus listening to the way of life of the locals. We provide our guests with a guide to the best places in the surrounding area. ●Transportation of guests It is recommended to rent a car from Heraklion for easier transportation, however there are bus routes from the center of Heraklion to the village twice a day, specific hours except Sundays.
