Bay Views & Beach Access! Clallam Bay
Nestled in quiet Clallam Bay, our charming Slip Point Cottage has a bay view & easy public beach access just steps from our door. Here, you can relax, beach comb, and explore the amazing Olympic Peninsula knowing you have a cozy centrally located home base to return to. Olympic National Park, stunning coastlines, hiking trails, and surfing spots are nearby. Just one to two minutes from Seiku and world-class fishing, our 3 BR, 2 bath home offers a wonderful place to get away from it all. The space Our 1941 home has been updated but the original floors and cozy charm remain. The open design of the kitchen, dining area, and living room allows for easy socializing and relaxing, and the gas fireplace adds comfort and warmth to the living area. Directly across the street is a beautiful, secluded beach …just a few easy steps away! We love to explore the beach and tidepools and listen to the sound of the waves while relaxing at the cottage. 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, living room, and dining area are on the main floor. The kitchen is spacious with lots of storage . The upstairs has 2 queen beds a separate bathroom, and an additional bay view. A game room separate from the house has foosball, ping-pong, darts, and an area for board games or cards. It can easily be used for additional gathering space for rainy-day activities. Outside, there is a deck off the living room, which is a great spot to sit and listen to the waves or watch the sunset in the evening. At the back of the property is a firepit area for your use. Sitting next to a crackling fire while star gazing is one of our favorite ways to enjoy a clear-skied evening at the cottage..... but our absolute favorite thing? Lingering sunsets, and the sound of the waves....depending on the tide, the can be heard inside and outside of the house, and it is SO relaxing. Guest access We have ample parking space that can accommodate trucks and boats., but we do ask that you limit your vehicles to 4 Other things to note The house sits on a large lot. The surrounding yard is in a natural state with some large old fir trees dotting the side yard. The tree roots and natural settling of the earth create a somewhat uneven ground for walking, and crows seem to drop all sorts of shells and shiny things in the yard, so please take care when walking. Eagles nest nearby, and you can hear them chortle and squeak as they go about your day...they even swoop by carrying a fish once in a while!
