Welcome to Kaskazi House, a beautiful, modern, four-season waterfront retreat on Mazinaw Lake, near to the popular Bon Echo Park. On a quiet bay, facing South-West, guests are assured beautiful sunsets and a sloping, sandy shoreline. In the heart of the Land O' Lakes, there is much to explore making it the ideal retreat for couples, families and groups looking for a quiet cottage vacation or an active adventure with fishing, boating, ATV/Snowmobile, skiing, hiking, snowshoeing and watersports. The space The property has four (5 in the warm months) bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two gas fireplaces and many thoughtful amenities. The open concept kitchen is fully loaded and has direct access to the upper level deck - a large entertainment area with Gas Fireplace and BBQ. The master bedroom has an inviting office loft that offers amazing lake views a pull out couch and quiet reading time. The lower walkout level contains a fireplace, media room, wet bar, games, gym equipment, pool table and a recently added golf putting zone! This area also leads directly onto lower decks, hot tub and walkway to fire pit. The waterfront access is a dream. The shoreline is a sandy, weedless bottom with a gradual descent over the first 50-60 feet to deeper waters, perfect for young children or lounging around. The property has a sandy access with no stairs needed to enter the water. Though for easy access on one section, a few stairs are available. The waterfront has 1 long dock as well as deck at the waters edge for lounging and relaxing. From May to October, you can benefit from the converted boathouse as a 5th bedroom. This offers an oasis at the waters edge, complete with a queen bed in a custom made loft, air conditioning, large open space for yoga and a wrap around private deck. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, including a row boat, canoe, kayak and SUP board. However, please plan to provide your own life jackets. Additional small Boat Rentals can be made very nearby at "The Maz" or "Bon Echo Outfitters" or "Smarts Marina" at the south end. There is lots of parking and a camper trailer hookup at the top of the driveway as well. Some of our personal items are in the garage. Other things to note There is a rowboat, kayak, SUP board and canoe provided for your enjoyment However, please bring your own lifejackets.
