Gwölb Top L (apartment in the monastery)

The apartment "Gwölb Top L" is located on the ground floor and can be entered through the general garden via the main entrance. The space The apartment has around 62 m2, anteroom, bathroom with shower and toilet, kitchen with dining area and a large bedroom. In the bedroom there is a double bed with a box, a pull-out sofa for additional guests (max. 4 people) and TV with Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with the basic equipment in order to be able to prepare smaller food yourself. Not pets allowed in the apartment. The building has been built in the 11th century as a Meierhof (farm building) of the Babenbergerburg. Later, it was converted and expanded into a women's monastery of the Redemptorist Order. The monastery consists of 20 residential units, partly with private gardens. In 2022, it was decided to make some of the historically valuable spaces accessible to a wider audience and transfer it to a short-term rental. A shared garden is at your disposal for relaxing. Extra beds depending on the apartment pull-out sofas or single beds. From 01.01.2024 the nightly tax is 2.50 EUR per person per person per night.
