Lake Couchiching Cottage

So close and easy to travel yet it takes your mind so far away as you immerse into relaxing lake life. Shallow entry to lake, perfect for young children. Flat property land, ideal for games like horseahoes, bocce, soccer, badminton. Great fishing. Large great room is ideal for game nights at the cottage. Bring your boat, we have a dock. Bring your fishing rods, great for bass, panfish and even pike! Location is perfect for discovering Orillia, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Midland, Muskoka. The space Rustic, cozy, clean cottage. Kinda old time, easy place to just be. The lake is calm here because it is in a shallow bay area. Creek that is on the side of the property hosts many river animals including turtles, frogs and even a beaver. Lake is big and can accomodate many activities like sailing, sea-doos, kayaking, boating and so forth. We like to paddle boat across to Geneva Park on the other side of us. Our property is maintained with regular lawn care and cleaning, but it is not a park and we are restricted with what we can do at the shoreline as nature is allowed to prevail and live alongside us. So please wear appropriate water shoes, never leave children unattended, be mindful of our living neighbours, (both human and others) and enjoy our little piece of the natural world!
