This house is all wood, it has a wood burning fireplace and the decor reflects as a mountain house retreat. Everything about this home gives you a definite cozy cabin mountain feeling. We are located just off the lake and within walking distance to Split Rock resort where they host wine fest, beer fest, cigar fest and family fun. We are close to all the major restaurants like Nicks, Shenanigans, Piggy’s, Terra Cottage and The country peddler. Location location location is so important. The house is close to the public access area of Lake Harmony. Just a few houses away and you can fish or launch your kayaks. The gate to Split Rock Resort is maybe 1 tenth of a mile down lake drive and an easy walk. The fact that you can walk everywhere is a big plus. Location, location, location!! You have the whole property to yourself! And there is a lock box attached to the house where you can access the key. You let yourself in and contact me that you arrived. I am available by phone. Text or call me with any questions. I require you to let me know when you arrive and leave. My home is surrounded by lovely mountain laurel which blooms in July. It’s the 5th house from Wood Street and 1/2 block from the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for couples, families or a romantic weekend. Walking is big in the mountains. We are located close to everything. Parking is plentiful at all restaurants and my driveway will fit 3 to 4 cars. No parking in the grass allowed. Keep the family room fan on low as it helps circulate the heat and air conditioning. Fireplace - remember to open the flu before starting the fire and please close the glass doors when you are finished for the day so all the heat from the house doesn’t go up the chimney. In the morning close the flu. I don't provide firewood. Remotes for the air conditioning/heater and ceiling fan is located on the side of the pantry.
