It’s location is walking distance to the University of La Verne, Fairgrounds and the array of fabulous downtown restaurants. There is ample off street parking for 1 or 2 vehicles. Keep it simple at this old town, fully furnished and centrally-located home. The space The Boho Hideaway is 1 of 4 freestanding homes on a large, double corner lot in Old Town La Verne. The Hideaway is set back from the street. Our downtown area offers an array of over a dozen dining options all within a few blocks walking distance. The Hideaway was constructed in 2021 as part of a larger project on the property. While the Hideaway was under construction, 2 other historic homes were moved onto the property from 2 blocks away. Moving day was quite something to see 2 houses rolling down the street, over the curb to their forever home. The original house on the lot was built in 1885 and was the first wood house in La Verne. All houses are separate with no common walls and ample space between them for privacy. As you enter through the Dutch front door, a bright and cheerful open concept living room, dining area and kitchen layout welcomes you. It’s kitchen is fully furnished. In addition to the gas stove with oven and microwave, small appliances include : Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, rice cooker, crockpot and hand mixer. The Bungalow has its own partially fenced off patio area with 2 chairs, a hanging chair and umbrella. In the flagstone common area with market lights, there’s a propane BBQ, refrigerator and fire pit with wood supplied. There is off street parking for 2 cars. Other things to note Please note, occupants are limited to those on the reservation and no others without the host’s written agreement. This is a pet friendly house subject to owner’s approval and pet fee. When making a reservation, kindly let us know what size and bread of pet you have. We understand that pets may behave differently than they do at their home in new surroundings so please bring a kennel/crate if you plan on leaving your pet alone in the house when you are away. If your pet is accustom to being on furniture, please let us know and we will provide extra linens to cover the furniture. The pet fee is $50 per pet and subject to approval of pet.
