Description
Looking for a nice place for a quick stop over as you start or end your Cabot Trail adventure? The Captain's Chamber provides you with a cozy & welcoming place to drop your hat for the night. Adjustable queen sized bed with sitting area & smart TV, dedicated bathroom & private entrance. Outside sitting area with wood burning firepit, dining area & access to the waterfront with kayaks & SUP's. A place for two to unwind & rejuvenate after a long drive. ADULTS ONLY PLS. The space My space is great for couples who need a quick stop over after or before a long drive ahead. I live on 2.5 acres with 147 ft of waterfront. Your space is private with your own entrance and dedicated bathroom. Your room has an adjustable queen bed, mini fridge, kettle, Nespresso and French press, coffee & tea. There is a microwave, toaster, smart TV and storage closet, a place to sit, sip and eat as well as an assortment of dishes for your use. Located on a private road in a rural community. Walk, run or take a bike ride (2 fat tire bikes), paddle on the lake on a kayak (single & tandem, use at own risk and at my discretion via weather ) or SUP, watch the majestic bald eagles. Go for a swim. Guest access You have access to a side deck with sitting area, a firepit out back (wood provided), a patio with table and chairs as well as a screened in porch area to relax out of the weather. I have 2 fat tire bikes you can use to tour the neighborhood. Use of kayaks and SUPs at the shared waterfront. There is a cottage at the waterfront so we ask that you maintain their privacy if they are lounging outside (meaning lounge around at the back of the main house if occupied). Some don't mind company. There is a wood burning Argentine cooking grill for your use (donations to cover wood appreciated). During your stay I am available should you require assistance during your stay. I use the firepit/sitting area behind the house but will respect your privacy accordingly. Other things to note If you are staying multiple days I may require access to the laundry facilities within your bathroom. I will coordinate with you accordingly. You now have to BOOK parking (fee) if you are hiking the Skyline Trail. You will still have to pay the park entry fee which you can do same day. To ensure you are at my place, there are 2 white posts at the top of my driveway. I am on a private road and it can be bumpy due to weather and wear and tear. Take your time. I have 2 friendly hypoallergenic dogs that roam freely on the property. Bella & Athena. If you are uncomfortable around dogs then my place is not for you. They will not be in your space.
