Nestled in the peaceful Gloucestershire countryside, this luxurious barn is the ideal getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Relax in your own private hot tub overlooking the woodland or cosy up inside next to the log burner. Perfectly situated to explore everything the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean have to offer. The space The Barn is a semi-detached property on the edge of a quiet country road less than two miles outside of Lydney, the gateway to The Forest of Dean. A perfect space for a romantic break for a couple but equally a fun space to share with friends or family. Recently refurbished to a high standard, The Barn offers one bedroom that sleeps up to 2 people with a king size bed. Also a brand-new king size sofa bed in the living area which can be used for extra guests. The open plan living space is a wonderful place to unwind. It is very light and bright with lots of natural light from large windows and a sense of spaciousness coming from the double-height ceiling. Blackout blinds/curtains throughout. The focal point of the living space is a log burner which comes with a basket of logs. The living area features a super-comfy sofa and a Chesterfield armchair - everyone will find their perfect place to chill-out. The flat-screen TV has an Amazon firestick. You'll also find WiFi, a record player, board games, a book swap and cards to help you make the most of your down time. The stylish kitchen is well equipped with beautiful crockery, cutlery, glasses, wooden boards and serving dishes. You'll also find pots, pans, knives and cooking implements. There is a dishwasher, fan oven, hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and cafetiere as well as a full size fridge/freezer. Tea and coffee is also provided. The dining table is big enough to seat 6 guests very comfortably with a church pew spanning one side. The bathroom, complete with power shower is light and airy, with shelving for each of the guests' personal items. Egyptian cotton linen and fluffy towels are provided for all guests. If you would like to also use the sofa bed in the living space, we can supply bedding - please ask us! The Barn has it’s own private south facing garden overlooking woodland and farmland. Relax on the terrace area under festoon lighting, eat al fresco on the large outdoor dining table or unwind in the wood fired hot tub. Travel cot, high chair and baby bath can be provided free of charge. Please let us know at time of booking. Check in is 4pm and check out 10am. We will try to be as flexible as possible where required. Loop Guest access There is private parking for up to two cars, this leads you through the garden to the front of The Barn. There is disabled access available. Other things to note We are dog friendly and the garden of The Barn is totally enclosed and dog proof. We do just ask that dogs don't go onto the sofa or on the bed.
